Magic Memories and You DL Version

I think I kinda like the WDW version more just because I haven't seen the projections on the castle before. What do you all think?

I actually really like the DL version. IASW at the backdrop looks really neat. I've only ever seen short clips of each one (I want to see it in person) but I do think it turned out better than I was imagining.


edit: ok so i just skipped through the youtube video and I am already getting teary eyed!!! I only saw 30 seconds of random parts of the show, so I imagine I will be a mess viewing it in full in person! Why is Disney so good at doing that? I think it has a lot to do with the songs used....don't know why but the WOC song, songs used in fireworks, and this one just really get to me!

We're here now and going to see Fantasmic tonight. Lucky we have really late dinner reservations tomorrow night at Napa Rose so we are going to try to see the 8 pm showing of this new Disney show. I'll be at WDW in March so I'll be able to compare the two then.

This new show makes up for Disney closing critter country with no notice at all. I didn't know there would be a new show, either.

I love it. I think it works better on IASW because its a bigger surface and flat so easier to project onto.

So am I understanding this correctly??? All the pictures and video is from that specific day in the park? It changes every day? They must have photographers walking around the park if that's the case. I love this, I can't wait to see it.

This show had been on the schedule for last weekend. But for some reason it didn't start and was removed from the schedule.

It plays for the general admission guests now nightly, one on Mon-Thur, twice Fri-Sun.

No, there is some submitted by guests online. You may of seen the commercials online or on TV featuring guest material. There will also be pictures taken the same day.

That is so neat!! Ahhh I will be on the lookout for Photo Pass photographers, I wanna be in the show

I mostly agree. Some of the effects are better on the taller Cinderella's Castle, but I think most are better spread out on Small World.

I just think the buzz scene, pirates on fire, and one other that doesn't come to mind are better on Cindy's castle. I still like DL's version though.

I just saw it on Thursday night. Before it started, the announcer specifically said the pictures were all taken that day. There were video clips, too. I loved the idea of this, but I have to say I was disappointed. Those kind of commercials always get me teary, but this show didn't do it for me for some reason. Maybe my expectations were too high. Maybe because most of the pictures were so teeny tiny and not up long enough to capture that "feeling." I had a good view, too. It seemed like not many people knew about it. I was impressed with a lot of the effects, though. I don't know. Maybe the song had something to with it. It wasn't my favorite.

was there, saw it, sorry not that impressed, the pictures are up for a few seconds, and are way to small to see from any distance. The special effects were kinda neat. Honestly we only went to say we were there for the 1st show ever. We should have done world of colour again

Went to what should have been the 8 pm show last night and it was canceled due to technical difficulties. I guess I'll have to see it in March at WDW.
