Magic Kingdon EMH

We will be visiting WDW at the end of July 2014. We have never done EMH as we tend to heed the warnings about crowds. However, I am tempted to go for EMH at MK so that we can do Fantasyland, particularly Mine Train and Ariel. We haven't been since new Fantasyland opened. We then thought we could do an early lunch at BOG and leave park at 1ish. How does that sound? Or would we be better to go on a recommended crowd day (Wednesday) for park opening or after an early CP breakfast.

If you have hoppers go to another park during the day and MK for EMH. Otherwise I'd go on a recommended day.

We do have hoppers and were thinking of morning EMH to get all new Fantasyland rides done.

AM EMH at MK is great. You will get a lot done.

But, I don't think that Ariel's Grotto is open during AM EMH. At least it isn't according to this list: http://touringplans.com/magic-kingdom/attractions/morning-extra-magic-hour

If you have hoppers, and if you plan to use them, then there is no reason not to go to AM EMH. Some suggest avoiding EMH if you will then be "stuck" at that park all day. But if you plan to leave, there is no reason not to go to EMH - and we've always found AM EMH to be really great.

AM EMH at MK is great. You will get a lot done.

Ariel does greet durnig AM EMH.

I have had both versions so far.

EMH at MK and complete day at MK :
Have done it in September. Crowd level was very low.
During the day I have done 95% of the rides. During EMH I have done the more popular rides like HM, Splash, BTMR or ETWB.
It was a blast. Standby line was always around 5-10 Minutes max.

Other Park and hopping to MK for EMH :
Have done this in November. Crowd level was between around 5.
During the day I have done Epcot, in the evening I hopped to MK.
It was a blast. All the popular rides had a 10-15 Minute waiting time.

It´s completely on you. Unindependent if you have Parker Hoppers or not, EMH is always a good choice and it´s´really worth to do.
