Magic Kingdom???

Can someone please tell me if the rides and attractions are open during the night parade and firework show in Magic Kingdom, or does everything shut down when this starts?

all the rides are open if i remember correctly. we went in 2007 and i remember splash mountain running the whole time where we were watching.

They're open. In some cases, it's the best time to go (no lines).

The only ride that shuts down during the fireworks is Cinderella's Carousel in Fantasyland.

Thanks everyone!!! I was hoping they would be for the reason one of you mentioned, no lines!!! We will be there 7 days and 2 are dedicated to Magic Kingdom. So I thouht that if the rides do stay open, we could do parade and fireworks one night and do some rides we want to do again the other night!!!

We were actually on Aladdin's carpets during the fireworks and they took us all up to the top like it was the end of the ride and let us continue to go around at the top until the fireworks were done. It was great fun!

That's what we do. Works out very well..
