Magic Kingdom...things we haven't done.

Astro Orbiter- pass if you are afraid of heights. Heights don't bother me but it was too much spinning for me. I have no intentions on ever going back on it.

Tomorrowland Speedway- must do for my DS. DH and DS usually do this while DD and myself find something else to do.

Enchanted Tales with Belle- we LOVE!! I think you could enjoy it even without really small kids if you are a Beauty and the Beast fan. Both of my kids have played parts in the show and really enjoyed it.

Tom Sawyer's Island- your DS would probably enjoy it- for us it depends on the time of the year and how hot it is if we do this or skip it.

Big Thunder Mountain- not bad but if your son is scared, I'd start him with SDMT. DD went on BTMT for the first time on our last trip and she was ok until the very end when her cousin who is the same age as her started crying- they both walked off in tears.

Thanks for all the replies! I'm kinda rethinking Astro Orbiter. If you can feel like you are going to fall out, that might not be the ride for me! We'll see though. My best friend is coming with us for 3 days of out trip, and she makes me braver than I normally am!

We are going to have to do the Speedway, I think. I know my son would love it. I think I will try to fast pass it.

I definetly want to do 7DMT, but won't be able to get a fast pass for it, probably. We are staying off site, but we will try to ride it either at rope drop or during MVMCP.

Also, my son agreed to ride BTMR with me! I told him that I was riding it this trip, no matter what, but the other two adults in my party have back issues, so it may be a no go for them. When he found out I would be riding by myself, he said he would ride with me. Sweet boy. Now we will see if he will really do it. I think he will like it. Thank you for the tip to ask to ride in front--I will do that.

Oh, and Belle? I think I'm going to see how our trip goes. We have multiple days planned at MK (my favorite park!), so I'll see how many other things we get done. I think my son would find it enjoyable, but I'm sure it wouldn't be a "must do" for him.

The WDW railroad is a must do for me but I love trains. It's too bad that it will be closed.

Definitely go to Tom Sawyer's Island. DS loved to run around there. He particularly enjoyed exploring the caves.

Astro Orbiter- Not my favorite. I did it during Wishes one time and although it was a really cool view, the combination of the lights, spinning, heights and noise was just not for me.
Tomorrowland Speedway- I was a CM for 4 months and didn't even bother doing this ride once. That being said, with a kid under 12 it's probably a must-d0.
Enchanted Tales with Belle- I love it! So adorable, but probably not up a 9 year old boy's alley. For me, it was too cute to watch all the little girls getting to meet Belle.
Tom Sawyer's Island- YES YES YES! one of my favorite things when I was a 9 year old :)
Big Thunder- If you can convince your son, this is one of my favorite rides ever. I am a humongous ride chicken but have been on BTMR many times. It is really not bad at all and the theming is fantastic. I like to shout YEE HAW as I go around :)
WDW Railroad- I did this for the first time and it's a lot of fun/cute. Not a must-do for me but definitely relaxing.

Astro Orbiter was definitely a one-time experience for me. The first (and only) time I ever rode it, they loaded me in the rocket on top of my husband. My husband is 6'4" and his legs took up a good portion of the space where my rear end was supposed to go. I was sitting on his lap, way too close to the top of the ride vehicle for my comfort. I was positive I was going to fly right out and splatter all over Tomorrowland on my honeymoon. In hindsight, I'm sure I was completely safe, but I was terrified. I told myself that if I made it safely off the ride, I'd never get on it again. And I haven't.

All of the other attractions on your list are awesome!
