Magic Kingdom Rope Drop when Train is Closed for Refurb?

We have never made rope drop at the Magic Kingdom (or any other park, for that matter - we are not morning people!). Our upcoming February trip will be our last for several years, so I really wanted to make it this time! But I am reading that the train is going to be closed for refurbishment while we are there. They still do something cool, right? I am bummed we will miss the traditional, characters-riding-in-on-the-train one, but I am hopeful it will still be neat to see.

When the train is down the characters just walk out onto the platform.

There's different variations of the morning show and you won't know what you get until you see it. Even when the train is not under refurb sometimes they just walk out. They do different ones depending on the operations that morning

Oh I didn't realize that, thanks! I am sure it will be great to see regardless of how the characters come out.
