Magic Kingdom Photo Shoot

We are looking to get married late september early october of 2008 and was wondering if it will be dark at 5/6 am each morning as I would rather have our magic kingdom photos in light and not darkness

I look forward to hearing about the best time to have this shoot

According to the U.S. Naval Observatory Data, sunrise will be between 7:19 and 7:36 during the month of Oct 2008.

The pictures at Splash Mountain were the last pictures we took on the way out at around 7:00 (based on being back at GF at 7:15). We started at 5:45 in the rose garden.

If I remember correctly, there are shoots at 5:00 am and 6:00 am. If you get the later time, you have a better chance of more light.

When i scheduled our photo shoot i wanted it to be dark outside. I was told to schedule ours at 5:00 a.m. She told me at the time that if i wanted it to be light outside the whole time that they could do a 6:30 shoot.

Now, when they say whatever time.....that is the time you are picked up at your resort, not the time you get to the park.

So, our photographer is picking us up at POFQ at 5:00, which means we will not arrive to MK until about 5:15 - 5:20. So if you schedule a 6:00 or 6:30 depending on where you are staying it may actually not start being shot until about 20 mins. later, which can ,make a big difference in lighting.

If you tell your coordinator you want it to be light outside they can schedule it to make that happen, they are very accomodating! Good Luck!

We have just had ours and i posted pics in my thread.
At the beginning of our shoot it ws totally dark so we got some night shots, by the end it was light so we got some daylight shots too!
