Magic Kingdom park hours question

I've been checking park hours for August a head of the planning window for my trip. I've noticed that the Magic Kingdom is closing early (6pm) on August 13, 15 and 18. Does anyone have any ideas why they would be doing this?

Wow - so early in the month? We are actually traveling later in August and my daughter was hoping to do MNSSHP.

Most likely MNSSHP, but that does seem early as last year it started Aug 16.

the one day throwing me off is the Saturday. They never do parties on Saturdays
