You may not need to get there an hour early sometimes just 10-15 minutes before the parade starts is enough. And depending on where you are there might be a set close byI forgot there are no benches to sit on for those with the ECV user, like in Disneyland. I know we won't want to stand for an hour waiting for the parade. Will have to figure out something else.
For what it is worth, there are benches around Town Hall, Mickey’s theatre and on the second floor of the RR station. We were there last week and found good spots on the porch of Mickey’s theatre.Thank you, gap. I am trying to find where some seating might be. I'm just afraid people will crowd in in front of us right before the parade starts. I've heard lots of stories about how rude parade watching people can be! I think they handle this better in Disneyland. We have never had a problem there.
Do you need to sit during the parade or just before if it is just before and can stand during the parade find a spot in one of the handicap area have the person in the wheelchair ECV get there spot up front then the person standing can find a set ( like on the little wall in some area) then when the parade starts go standThank you, gap. You can try but there is alway a chance someone will jump infront of youDH and I could stand while waiting and also during the parade, but prefer not to. Being on your feet so much all day, waiting for the parade would be a nice time to sit. Is that wall across from where they had the muppet show near Sleepy Hollow a place to see the parade? I'm thinking people might crowd in front of you in the places where you can find a seat. I'd rather stand and wait rather than have to deal with rude people.
My Mom uses an ECV in the parks.
Where is the best place to watch from without having a bunch of people push in and stand in front of us before the parade begins??
