Ok, so I might have missed this somewhere Jeff, but can someone tell me HOW you get onto the roof of the contemporary to take shots??? Pooh_Girl, (aka DW) and I are staying at the contemporary in December and I would LOVE to get a daytime and nighttime pano shot from up there!!!!

It was not easy- after parachuting onto the roof I had to quickly take the pictures and then rappel down the side of the building and escape before I was captured by mouse security. Actually I detailed the experience in my trip report.
I used my Nikon D50 with a 70-200/2.8vr lens. I set to ISO 200 and I think around f5.6. Tripod mounted with a remote cable release. I think the exposure was around two seconds per shot. One thing I would change if I was trying at night again would be to take a heavy tripod- I used a portable one for this. With the long exposures- heavy lens- and the wind up there I think it would have helped considerably. Next time.
