I was wondering if we can do magic kingdom in one day considering that we will not be doing any of the kid rides/shows?

We were thinking that we might need to do Epcot in 2 days. Does it really require 2 days?

Thanks.

No kid rides = no kids I'd save the extra day for Epcot.

We don't have any little ones when we go to Disney and can easily do iMagic Kingdom in a day.
However, we'd probably take more time with Epcot since it's one of our favorites. Even then we don't do Mission Space, so that's eliminated. We spend more time in World Showcase, but it doesn't open til 11:00 or thereabouts.
That said, we've been going to Disney since 1982 and know how we like to do each park and never feel rushed at any of them.
That could change this spring since we've never dealt with the new system in place..............
:rolleyes1

As a family, we spent two full days in Epcot - and it felt like too much. That said, the last visit, we only spent one day. It rained in the late afternoon, and we ended up missing a bunch of stuff.

Who knows? Day and a half?

Even with two full days, I can't see everything at EPCOT, especially during the flower show. We like to spend time at the Seas looking at all the fish and we do spend significant time in World Showcase, I like the entertainment and all the shops. We don't usually have time for Innoventions or to play any of the interactive games after rides like Spaceship Earth.

We generally take a break, either mid-afternoon or at dinner time and head out International gateway and go walk around the Boardwalk. This is especially nice when the parks are crowded and I am getting frustrated.

Just got back yesterday - we had 2.5 days at Epcot and STILL could have used more ;)

I think it's one of those things where it depends on what you want to do and how you want to tour each park. We've always done one day at each park and felt content. We're not rope droppers, have little kids, and getting our fair share of rides in (before FP+.) We've done repeat days at MK and were very happy too, but repeat days at MK typically meant just going back and doing some of our favorite rides again.
