Magic kingdom nights in August

I have noticed that on the 14th things change from the electric light parade/summer nightastic fireworks to spectomagic and wishes. Is it worth us trying to see both or will they be very similar anyway ?

Another question-sorry, if I would prefer a higher room at SSR should I ring or e mail to request this and where do I find their details.

I've seen Spectro many times but not ELP, except on youtube. They are VERY different. If you are there for the overlap I would definitely try and see both. You will be the envy of many who had no choice.

I seen the ELP a few years back and loved it, especially the music. If you can go to both i would definatley go. I'm just gutted that i will miss ELP this year

I have watched ELP on youtube a few times and actually found it annoying (it's the music) But I have to be fair and say that you can't watch something like that on a small screen and form an accurate impression or draw a comparison. These things are completely different when you are there in person. If it was on while I was there, I would definitely make some effort to see it.

Thanks will try and go before the 14th already got an evening in MK planned for later in the holiday, just hoping we can stay up that late in the first few days !

Aren't there 2 parades per night when you are there? The first one is usually at 8 or 9 pm.

The parades are at 9 and the fireworks are at 10 so quite late for children.
