Magic Kingdom game at Sobeys (Acton)

Hi guys! Just thought I'd pass this along. I was at the Sobey's in Acton and they have the "Magic Kingdom" board game for 19.99. It is exactly the same as the games they sell at DTD toy store. There is no french on the package at all! I got one to put as a family santa gift under our christmas tree this year so we can all play on boxing day wishing we were really there!!! I don't know if other Sobeys have them or not but it would be worth checking out. I am certain they cost more at Disney.FYI gang

I called my Sobeys and they said they don't carry games... wonder if the one in Ancaster would have it? Where are you from janjandis?

My sister bought it at Toys'R'Us last Christmas for my daughter. My kids really like it. It was confusing the first time we played it, but once we got a handle on the rules it was fine.

I went the to try and link to the game at Toys'R'Us and found that the board didn't look right. Our game looks like this. Our version was put out by Parker Brothers, the other one is put out by Hasbro. It looks like the game is played the same way, but the board and the cards and the pawns are different. Did Hasbro but out Parker Brothers?

Which one is the Sobey's game?

It's alot of fun! My kids love it. It was a gift to the both of them last year a friend of mine picked it up at ToysRus last year for me around $30 CDN, so $19.99 is a great deal!

Going to have to take a drive I think - I was looking at this while we were there and couldn't justify the $$.

Has anyone ever seen the theme parks addition of monopoly? We saw it while we were there in 2004 and I'm kicking myself now for not buying it - they didn't have it there this year and I haven't seen it anywhere else either.

Maybe the person on the phone hasn't even seen it, I would take a walk thru the store if I were you.

We have the Disney Monopoly and love it! We play it alot and it always gets us talking about past trips and memories. Last time we were down to Orlando, we picked up the Stitch popamatic Trouble and Disney Scrabble. Both are great too, but we are a board game family.
