If unable to get a primary viewing spot for fireworks (wont be able to go hour before etc) what might be some secondary viewing suggestions?
ty

So the only "good" viewing spots are between plaza area and Casey's area? And if coming from fantasyland at 850 (for 915 show) will we be able to make it thru the crowds to that area? Ty

when i went they had one garden area reserved ( green colour area ) for dessert party as showed in pic above . the other listed as signature celebration was open to public . but people sitting up against front fence made it looked packed . we got there about 30min before firework and once we got it in got a great spot . we sat down the whole time and had a great view

You can easily get a fantastic spot 15-20 minutes before, even less at times. I never understand why people think you need to be there an hour before. Unless you are there on a major holiday, then maaaaybe.

Because, for years and years there USED to be a night-time MK parade that very often ran before the fireworks, So... the Hub area could (and would) "fill up" with guests who arrived early for the parade, then stayed in (or repositioned into) the Hub areas for the fireworks and (on many occasions) the "castle projection show, Celebrate the Magic (among other names.)
Now, without the parade (sadly) early arrival is not quite as critical for the fireworks.
Not everyone has made the "adjustment."

I get that. I don't remember hearing about the early arrival in the hub quite as often before HEA started. I know it was mentioned, but it seems to be more of a concern for some people with HEA, for whatever reason.

No...My experience is during the "party" seasons HEA is only offered a few days during the week. People flood MK on those nights making moving, in general, a chore. Best bet would be to walk around through adventure land and try to back door it towards Casey's.

I've often viewed from the bridge to Tomorrowland (that's a yellow/gold on Robo's map) and get a good view (and great view of Tink going by). Good spots there right up to showtime.

If the train is running, you could take the train around and get off at main street. When we can't get into the Hub, we like to watch from the area around the flag pole.

Yes, the area on the left (near Casey's) is not always reserved. When I was there a few weeks ago, they had only the front part of it reserved, but not the rest (they eventually took down the reserved ropes too). It was pretty easy to slip in there toward the back, and it's a great viewing spot.

If you dont need to see them with the castle in the foreground go behind in fantasy land or liberty square. It's a different view, not crowded and you can get to an attraction right after finale

The railroad is still closed and I don't think there is an opening date in sight. I've read estimates of 18mos-2 years but who knows!

The train won't be running for a very long time.

The new fireworks show makes it impossible to get the full effect if you can't see the whole castle.

We’ve seen it from Main St a couple of times and from New Fantasyland a couple of times and prefer New Fantasyland. Yes you cannot see the projections, but you can ride Dumbo while the fireworks are going off!

Is there a really good source for the music from the fireworks that doesn't have the crowd chattering in the background? I found a youtube video but you can hear the people in the crowd talking. I want to listen to the music on my cellphone while I watch the fireworks from the Wilderness Lodge. Thanks. :)

I like this one:

Smart idea to play music on your phone! There are a couple of spots at WL where they play the music for you too:

The OFC balcony - That is in the area behind the cast members desk, the roof top is where the flags are raised.

Geyser Point where you can see the high fireworks and they play the music. You can sit near the water and have a pretty good view. There are tables that anyone can sit at out there.

Now that the CRT signature package has been up and running for a while, is it having an noticeable impact on availability of space in the area in front of Casey’s? We loved that spot last year and arrived maybe 30 to 45 minutes beforehand. We opted for an after hours event for our upcoming trip, so I’m not sure we can afford another add on like a dessert party. Are there any good places left?

I usually read most fireworks viewing/dessert party type posts and I’ve barely seen any mention of it. I believe it’s just a small portion of the West garden roped off (not totally sure about that though).
