Magic Kingdom during the Super Bowl?

We will be at MK during the Super Bowl this year since the extra magic hours are that evening. Has anyone been in previous years at MK during the Super Bowl? How was the crowd and lines for attractions?

SB pretty much has no impact on crowds. Relatively dead time of year anyway.

I have been wondering the same thing, with many ppl stating that it will be deserted. We are planning AK earlier, taking a break around 5pm and then hopping MK. However, if others come out when the game is over (since there will be EMH that night) it could get busier than expected. It is rated a 4 for that day so we are curious too.

We were there 2 yrs ago. No difference. Parks seemed just the same as the days before.

I've been on these boards for well over a decade.
Every year the "Super Bowl Crowds" question comes around.
And, every year the results come back that the game has no impact on the parks.

(This info also held true for two years in a row (2009, 2010) that the game, itself, was played in Florida.)

From my experience, I haven't noticed a difference. Same weekend crowd as usual.

Was there last year, EMH was brilliant, we rode continuously on buzz until we all got max scores, had pirates to ourself, hit a glitch at magic carpets due to ride breaking but had loads of fun with the CMs in line. Loved Super Bowl EMH and plan to be there this year too.

the EastWDW site claims the Superbowl does tend to draw away the local crowd...especially in the afternoon...but perhaps that is offset by people who head to the MK expecting it to be quieter than normal. In any case...we'll be there too...so guess we'll find out firsthand.
