Magic Kingdom dinner reservations???

We going to be spending 2 nights in Orlando but only going to the MK for 1 day, I'd like to do dinner with the kids that night (6/2) can I make a reservation ahead of time for something? Were staying outside the park at the Hilton by downtown disney

Also, any restaurant suggestions for the MK? We went to 'Disney before but it was 3 yrs ago and I've forgotten everything

You pretty much have to make a reservation in advance if you want to be guaranteed of a table service dining location when/where you want. Reservations are accepted 180 days prior to your dining date.

You can look on the Disney parks web site (the dining section) and see what is available for sit-down dining in MK. Should be Liberty Tree Tavern, Cinderella's Royal Table, Tony's Town Square, Plaza - I think that's it.

There are of course many counter service locations and you don't need reservations for those.

With kids that age, I would consider the character dinner buffet (pooh and friends) at Crystal Palace.
