Hi all... the countdown is on and i have changed and rechanged my plans so it is time to get final. I am wondering would'nt it be better on this morning to get a cab to contemporary and have early breakfast then hop the monorail to the park instead of eating "again" at our resort (POR) and getting the bus to MK. any advice would be appreciated. I have decided not to rent a car for our whole trip and I can just take cabs to other resorts and maybe even home in the evening if the bus line is too long.

I guess it depends on how early you want to get up. If you take a cab to the CR for breakfast--maybe Chef Mickey's--you can walk to MK or take the monorail.

It all depends on what you mean by "wouldn't it be better." Are you talking going to Chef Mickey's for a character breakfast, or just looking to have breakfast close to MK regardless of what kind of breakfast it is? If it's ONLY a matter of being closer, then it makes no difference. Let's just pretend it takes 30 minutes to eat breakfast and 30 minutes to get to MK. Whether you eat breakfast first and use transportation second, or use transportation first and eat second, it still adds up to an hour either way.

Here's a hint, if minutes really count to you. Made an ADR for the character breakfast at 1900 Park Fare (http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/men_19b.htm) at Grand Floridian. The reason I suggest this to you, if minutes count to you, is the direction the monorail runs. From Grand Floridian, the first stop is MK. From the Contemporary, you make stops at TTC, Polynesian, and Grand Floridian before finally getting to MK.

thanks for the tip... I am gonna stay up in the morning and see if i can get some ADR for am of MK also the night of arrival somewhere at DTD...
