Magic Kingdom Crowd Level During Christmas Party Days?

What is the park crowd level during days that include the MVMCP? I noticed the MK is open from 8-6 that day. Do people avoid the park because of the overall decreased number of hours? Most crowd level calendars are predicting a low crowd day. I wouldn't be against using my MK day ticket that day if it meant a decrease in the overall number of people during the normal hours.

“Crowded” is subjective for sure, but I do tend to believe in the theory of party days = (slightly) lower MK crowds during the day, especially early. If given the choice, I would choose going to MK on a party day just for that reason.

I don’t think you’re talking about “major” differences in the crowd level - it’s more shades of grey than anything - but I think you tend to be able to get more accomplished early than on an otherwise normal day.

Obviously the specific day of the party in question has an influence as well.

I think the crowds will be lighter on that day. Tuesday’s are historically the lightest MVMCP crowds, and Touring Plans crowd calendar has it listed at 3/10, which is about the best you’re going to find especially this time of the year.

Yes, generally crowd levels are lower on a Party day. It's not like "empty" vs "packed" difference, but probably a couple crowd levels (on a 1-10 scale).

People said yesterday (party day) was significantly less crowded than Wednesday (non-party day).

If it means 40 minute waits turn into 20, then it's worth it, in my view. I scored SDMT FP after 4pm
