Magic Kingdom Counter Service

Remember, I didn't say the food was terrible, I said there was a terrible selection. Big difference. The food all over WDW is good, but at MK there is just not much to choose from.

There aren't any. Sorry. Magic Kingdom & MGM are really close as to which one has the worst counter service. The Asian Noodle place use to be good but they reduced the menu, taking off the best items and now its closed most of the time. The Mexican place that was good across from Pirates is closed.
I couldn't disagree more. The food at MK is great. Pecos bills has awsome burgers, the Noodle terrace has these soup bowls that are light yet delicious, cosmic rays is really good all around, Pinochio haus has good chicken and sandwiches.

For counter service meals we like Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland. Nice menu choices, usually quick service, and plenty of indoor seating. But where you have your meals planned should actually be determined by your itinerary for the day. Where in the park you plan to be at meal time. You don't want to have to walk all over the park to have your meals, so plan in advance accordingly.

Enjoy.

If you like soup and salad, Cosmic Rays has a good creamy vegetable soup.
Just a heads up, the creamy chicken veggie soup is gone from the menu at Cosmic Ray's. I used to love that soup, and was very disappointed to see it go.

I'm not sophisticated foodie or anything, but I thought the food at Cosmic Ray's was very good! :teeth:

I have to agree! DH and I shared the chicken platter at Cosmis Ray's. It came with mashed potatoes and carrots and really was fanatastic. I was surprised that a counter service meal could taste so good!

Another vote for peco's bills....But we never leave MK without a hot dog and cheese frys from Caseys...

I vote for Pecos Bill's (awesome salad, good toppings bar for burgers) and Columbia Harbor House (the sandwiches are really fresh and good, and the atmosphere upstairs is great, really quiet)
