Could you tell me if we will be able to walk in the castle and see things? Or do you have to have reservations to the Royal Table to get into the castle?

Thanks!
Kerrie

you have to have a reservation to get to the dining room. although to be honest ive never tried to up there without one. you can not go to the suite unless you are picked.

There really is no place to go into. It's the restaurant, BBB and the castle suite. I'm sure there are some behind-the-scenes stuff inside, but nothing open to the public. The stage the castle courtyard productions for there. You can walk through the castle at times when they aren't preparing for performances. There is a beautiful mural on one of the walls. :thumbsup2

I haven't bothered to go up there for quite a few years (maybe 8 or 10 years) but there used be a number of shops around back. I can't recall if the walkway went straight through or not.

Isnt there a Tinkerbell store and an art store in the castle in the back? I could be mistaken, but I am pretty sure those are in the castle. :confused3

I beleive the art store was taken out to make the Bibbidi, Bobbidi Boutique. And Tinkerbelles store is another building, near the carousel. You jsut basically walk through. I don't think you are allowed in the resturant with out reservations. I remember once trying to walk in years ago, and they had someone right at the door and you couldn't get past them to even see anything. I beleive you have to walk upstairs for that.

Those are right outside the castle in the back, not in. But i do remember there being cinderella's thrown or something like that that you can sit in. But besides that there's nothing more to see.

Huh.. I'm dumbfounded. The castle looks HUGE. I would have thought there were rooms that could be wandered through and places to go up in the tower. I guess I was thinking there might have been a tour or something one could go on. Huh....

Thanks for the input everyone!!
Kerrie

It's really not that big. And for years the area where the new suite is sat empty.
I have ehard that at DL they used to have a stairway that led to a sleeping beauty room (or somthing like that) but it is now closed off after 9/11 for safety reasons.
