We will be in Disney Sept 2-9. Trying to decide what parks to do on what days to avoid the most crowds. We will only be doing 1 day in each park. It is our second time as adults, but are taking my semi-elderly (don't tell them I said that!) parents and it is their first time. So the less waiting and the more doing, the better!

Undercover Tourist is recommending MK on Sunday, 9/3. With Labor day on Monday 9/4 this seems crazy to me! Will there actually be low crowds in MK on Sunday? Right now our schedule looks like this:

Sat - Arrive
Sun - MK
Mon - Rest
Tue - HS
Wed - Epcot
Thur - Rest
Fri - AK

I am thinking about switching HS to Sun and MK to Tue. HS is not recommended on Sun, but I feel like it is the least attended park and can't be THAT bad. They do have EMH that morning though and we do not plan to participate.

Any input?? Thank you!

First step: If there are MNSSHP date during your stay, days with a party will be less crowded.

Thursday there is. But the compromise is no night time show and two hours less in the park we want to do the most. Is it worth it?

The hubby and I were actually thinking about attending the party on our own if we don't get a lot of rides done the day we do MK (Sun or Tue).

Our best days have been party days. Everyone chooses other days so they don't have to leave early. We typically get more done in shorter time so don't miss the extended hours. But we're typically there at rope drop and stay all day.

You can watch fireworks from outside the park. That's really the only "night show" since there's no night parade any more.

Without moving everything around (rest days and dining reservations) would Sunday or Tuesday be better to plan MK? I hands down would have said Tuesday, but the crowd calendar is throwing me off.
