Magic Kingdom After Hours coming back (DAH); Reviews: Page 18 >>

Cannot wait to do this in just over 2 weeks!!! Thanks so much for all the reports, keep 'em comin' !

I'm trying to determine if this would be a good thing for our family to do. We have a last minute trip over Presidents Day weekend. We are just trying to get to warm, this wasn't a theme park trip for us, but then I saw this was happening and peaked my interest. We are offsite at a Disney Springs hotel. So transportation there is covered. We will need a way to get back. What is the best option for that? Also I don't understand about the park closing at 8 and Wishes is on the schedule at 8. The other party dates say the park closes at 9. So regular guests have to leave before Wishes? That part doesn't matter to me so much, but we would really like to be in the park at midnight to celebrate a birthday. This party ends at 11. Not sure we can walk that slowly out of the park. Haha. Being in the park at midnight with not many people there on the birthday would be an added bonus for us. And you can get in at 4 instead of 7 like the official page indicates?

You can get in at 4, we arrived at 5pm and the special event entrance was all set up. Wishes started around 7.45 on Thursday, we caught the end of it and went straight into Peter Pan at 8pm, whist non party guests were turned away.

When I went 2/2, all stayed for Wishes and then all had to exit the park unless they bought the DAH tickets

Yes the Wishes was at the close of the park day as usual but all in the park could stay for it

When we went, we headed to adventure land and saw very few peeps there after Wishes

The day crowd had thinned out over in that section by the time we reached it

We are going next Thursday! Can't wait!!

We will be there as well, I'm so excited for this!!! I'm trying to not get my hopes up too high though, in my head I keep seeing people's pictures with an essentially empty main street, I'm not expecting it to be quite THAT dead.

We were there Thursday. The place seemed abandoned.

Mine Train X 6
Space Mountain x 2
Pirates
Pan
Pooh
IASW
Buzz x 2 (Didn't even have to get off)
I'm sure I'm forgetting something. Had some popcorn and water. Mainly just spent our time wandering slowly marveling at an empty park. If we hadn't walked all the way back to the far corner to find out BTM was closed we'd probably have gotten more rides in.

But was Splash Mtn open? I don't care how cold it might be at night, it would break my heart to go and not get to ride Splash 4-5 times.

Worth every penny. We went on 2/2/17. Showed up at 5pm, grabbed some dinner and made our way to Adventureland. Started there and circled around the park. We hit the following with no waits:
-Jungle Cruise (entire boat to ourselves. Family of four)
-Pirates (once again, family got the entire boat to ourselves)
-Splash Mountain
-Big Thunder (4 times)
-Haunted Mansion
-Small World
-Peter Pan
-Seven Dwarfs (6 times)
-Tomorrowland Speedway
-Space Mountain
-Buzz Lightyear

Plus we enjoyed popcorn, ice cream and bottled sodas. Would do this again hands down.

What do people recommend as an itinerary for After hours? Is it as someone did above and start at Adventureland? This will be my youngest child's first time being able to ride thunder mountain and space mountain and all of our first time on the dwarf's mine train so we definitely want to make sure we get on those. Anything that we won't be able to ride?

TIA.

We had 3 FPS (430, 530, 630) and then went to Adventureland & worked our way around. We watched Wishes @8 from the bridge in front of Splash and then walked onto Splash. We rode everything we wanted by 11:30, then re-rode 7DMT before leaving.

Thanks so much! I didn't know you get FastPasses with AfterHours! The website says you can't get in until 7 pm for After Hours. Is that correct?

How do you find this on the main WDW website? I used to be able to do a search for Disney After Hours, but it's not coming up under those search words anymore. What link are you using to see the dates available for this? Thanks. :)

Look under special events and tours and filter my the Magic Kingdom.
