About how many tickets are supposed to be sold each night? I'm looking at the January 20th event, which is the same night as my reservations at Club Villain at HS for the 5:00 show. I know I have more than enough time to get from HS to MK to be there by 8 to enjoy the event's 3 extra hours, but I don't know if I can event my fellow traveling companion to join me. Would it be feasible for me to buy a ticket the day of or a few days before? Or would I be better purchasing a ticket for myself beforehand?

After researching a bit from back the first time it was offered a number thrown around was 3000 tickets but I don't believe anyone knows for certain.

As for waiting to buy a ticket, harder to say. It sure didn't sell out before. But it was very poorly advertised. Will they do better this time? Will folks be willing to try? So hard to answer. The morning one has been more popular but not sold out all that often

There's a good chance there will be. When they first rolled this out earlier this year it didn't sell well and I don't believe any nights sold out (even with selling some tickets for basically 50% off). So odds are in your favor. But there's a slight possibility it could sell out.

We will be going to WDW Jan 26-31! Disney after dark will be happening on the 27! We also will be upgrading to APs when we get there, soooo my question is do you guys think there will still be tickets available for this when we get there since inwould obviously want to get the AP discount on these?! The hubby and I would love to do this!!

Where do you see jan 27th? the official page shows feb 2 as the first after hours date.. Although you also called it after dark, is there another event I don't know of?

January 20 and 27 are the first two dates in Post #1.

I had this same question. I called Disney and said I would be upgrading to APs on our trip in February, and the agent let me purchase the tickets now with the AP discount. He just told me that I had to have APs when I check in to the event.

I'll be going jan 20, feb 2 and march 9 if anyone is around say hi (already have my tickets).

the AP price was nice :) going to be tons of video of empty rides coming out of this one :)

This is exciting news, since my family only makes it there ever 4 years, I'm excited to see Jan 27th on there! With that said, and I'm sure it's been talked about already on here, on that day we are planning our day to be at Epcot and we don't have ph. I assume that since this is an extra ticket we should be alright but I want to make sure.

Also, are there plenty of CM out there to take plenty of pictures? Thank you everyone!

$89 per Annual Passholder/Disney Vacation Member adult or child (tax not included).

I missed this, they really need to extend this through the end of March! I am already planning how to change our current schedule to attend this.

You are correct, being a hard ticket event you'll be going in on that ticket so park hopper is not needed. You will need a normal ticket/day on your ticket for epcot though.

It's hit or miss depending on where you want to get a picture.. It's not as plentiful with cms as you would find on a day they are trying to selling you widgets and flashy things but there is enough and they are in much better spirits than other nights so you'll find help.

Do they have Photopass photographers around the park? Or at least by the castle?

Sounds good, thank you!

We're going February 9!

Just curious, since you said you purchased your tickets already - did you link them in MDE yet? Mine are there, but there's no description with them. They just show up with a completely blank description - the ticket icon and who the ticket is assigned to is all that's there. I called Disney (again) and they said it looks fine on their end, so I was just wondering if it appears that way in MDE for anyone else.

Same for me.. It said the right thing when I was linking them but it was a little strange as it was saying everyone was the wrong age for the ticket purchased so the website needs to be fixed up a little more. I'll bug people at disney mid jan if it's still the same on the website.

Glad it's not just me! Mine said the same thing about ages too.

Edit: all the ticket info is now showing up in MDE!
