Last trip I happened to be on Magic Carpets during Wishes... magical.

I've heard that the Pirate Adventure is definitely best done at night as you get to see some special effects that you don't in the day.

Awesome. The Jungle Cruise, late nite special, sounds like a really fun time. If only James Corden could be my skipper! (Cruisin' Karaoke! Yes, the sing-alongs would be mighty! )

Little DD and I were on Magic Carpets during Wishes. It was magical!! And carpets were flying empty so we didn't have to get off for about 5 times!!
Much better than flying carpets under the sun.

Also, we love to meet Mickey at late night. No need for a FP as most people have seen him already!!

Taking a picture of the Castle at Midnight is also my favorite.

Adventureland is my absolute favorite part of the park to be in at night. The Jungle Cruise is definitely better at night, and we also have ended up on Aladdin's magic carpet ride during Wishes and loved it!

I do also love TTA (peoplemover) at night

Tomorrowland is my favorite place to be at night. I love the lights, and my youngest son loved the dance party at night and dancing with Mr. Incredible. We always end up in Tomorrowland at the end of the night on a MK day.

Downtown Disney or whatever its called this year... is really fun at night too. Late dinner at Rainforest or Planet Hollywood was fun on past trips.

Besides lower crowds, we love to go in late Jan/early Feb because its dark so much earlier!

Big Thunder during Wishes is my FAVORITE. We haven't done it yet but the People Mover during Wishes would be amazing too - basically anything in Tomorrowland is my favorite at night because of all of the lights.

You should ride Jungle Cruise at night. It's a whole new experience. BTMRR as well.

We find Haunted Mansion to be way creepier when you approach at night.

The Jungle Cruise gets my vote. Along with Space Mountain. Nothing like a thrill ride at 12midnight to keep me up and alert!

MK at night is Amazing!!! Provides a whole new experience with the park. PPLMover and Big Thunder are my favorites.

If you love MK at night then a must is New Years Eve at MK. Not a bad seat in the entire park for the Fireworks at midnight. I was there for 2013 New Years Eve and the experience brought chills to the entire family. Mickey, Minnie, Goofy came on the Speaker System and started the count down. ALL the lights in the park were dimmed down. The fireworks were then shot off at the stroke of midnight from 3 different areas of the park not just the castle. Best New Years Eve EVER!!! hahaha

Hey DISers....

For those nights where the Magic Kingdom is open till about midnight, are there certain rides, activities, events that you especially enjoy?

Maybe a certain section of the park gets a special kind of "magic?" ie... Tom Sawyer island is a little more spooky, the riverboat is a little more romantic... maybe these attractions aren't open cause the alligators take over...

What you do look forward to when you're enjoying a late night in the Magic Kingdom?

Try to ride BTMR or 7DMT while the fireworks are going off - it was so cool to see them booming over ahead as we zoomed around the tracks!

Don't think I've ever done BTMRR or Jungle Cruise at night so will have to next time!
