Magic Kingdom 24 hour day May 22

We arrive on May 23. Since we're staying at BW, I had planned on us going to Epcot that day, but with the 24hr thing on Friday, do you think that Saturday will be less busy? Just curious if I should change some of my FP to MK instead?

It should be a little less busy than normal on a Saturday.

Saturday is when most families start a vacation and their first park is usually MK. Plus a lot of locals will go as well. But since it's the party the day before, lots of locals will go and some people will start their vacation a day early there

This is something we'd LOVE to do someday, 24 hours in MK!

I may just get up out of bed at like 4 and run over for a few hours, just to say I did it.

Are things closed later at night at these events? Or is pretty much everything open? I have no idea how busy it gets at like 3 or 4 am.

It was unbelievably packed for last years 24 hr monstrous summer. Be prepared for it to be close to the crowd on Xmas. It didn't clear up until close to 4-5am

Wow, I figured it would die out after 1 or 2. I think it would be fun to show up at 4 though.

I am glad it is not Epcot that does that. Enough drunks there already.
