The Believe Key gets 50% off parking. So that’s a parking discount. The Dream Key gets free parking, and using it activates the pass.

I must have missed this but where does Disney say you can use your pass at the parking structure to activate it?

No. That parking benefit is only for theme park parking which is both structures and the toy story lot.

The website has a header for Magic Key, not the Tickets header.
It will also be available for sale on the app.

I don't know if anyone has posted this, but here is a link to the Magic Key availability calendar. Should be interesting to watch what happens with reservations once the sales open up.

That's what I was told when I called.

ETA: this is true even if you have on site hotel reservations, according to the 2 CMs I spoke with.

This is a bummer and a deal breaker for us out of staters.

Edited to clarify: we will end up buying 2 hoppers for our 8 day trip because as VGC guests we would get 120 days advance park booking vs 90 days as a key holder.

It's not that you CAN activate it that way, It is that if you use the pass that includes free parking, your pass becomes active the first day you use it to park, if that happens before your first admission. So you if you use the pass to park and go to DTD, it will be considered the effective date of your pass.

They will be gobbled up, I just wonder how many cancellations they get 24 hours before their reservations start.
I can definitely see some people book up all the dates they can and then cancel them on the last day and repeating the cycle.
