Yeah, I'm normally not there near closing- however I assume that's the point, Disney would like to keep guests longer in the park by offering special late ride times.Hmmm... from 11 to midnight? Then starting October 18th the park closes at 10, so 10-11. That's later than most people are willing to hang around, I think... I'm usually done, done, done by 10 p.m.! Of course, I'm old and cranky.![]()
I do not have an account on Instagram, where this news was "officially posted." I'm really getting a bit heated that Disney would post important and relevant news to a 3rd party social media outlet rather than using their own, native tools such as the Disneyland App or even email to the Key holders. They have ZERO excuse. They have my email address ... and I checked the Magic Key portal from the Disneyland App (result: no joy). That is super disappointing. Bad form, Disney. Bad, bad form!!!When do you think Disney will communicate this to the Magic Key members via email or on their website, or through the Disneyland App's Magic Key portal??
This isn’t new. They used to do this all the time in the old AP program on Twitter and Facebook for movie screenings, extend ride hours, etc.I do not have an account on Instagram, where this news was "officially posted." At least Twitter I can read w/out a login. I can't seem to find a way to do that w/ IG?This isn’t new. They used to do this all the time in the old AP program on Twitter and Facebook for movie screenings, extend ride hours, etc.
You may be able to see the posts on the web if you have the link but otherwise you have to be logged in to use the app.At least Twitter I can read w/out a login. I can't seem to find a way to do that w/ IG?
I'm just gonna stick with: Disney's actions, in this regard, are completely lame. You may be able to see the posts on the web if you have the link but otherwise you have to be logged in to use the app.
Be sure to look for the Monkey Bride. She's on the left side this year. Pic off of the internet below. I only went on the attraction once, so didn't get a pic yet.I’ll be there on Monday and I’m going to try to make it. It could take pressure off during the day with the long wait time. I want to see how it is.

Don’t be discouraged to get in line during the day if you want to ride it earlier. Some times the wait line says it’s long but I rode it about 7 times now since it open and didn’t wait longer than 30 min. The issue is when the ride breaks down.I’ll be there on Monday and I’m going to try to make it. It could take pressure off during the day with the long wait time. I want to see how it is.

Thank you!! This is the best way for Disney to get feedback, and I agree special events/offerings should be more publicly available (through Magic Key portal and Disney account). So I stopped by City Hall today (inside DL) and asked, oooooh soooooo innocently: "I need help, please, with the Magic Key portal in the Disneyland App?" After some dancing about, the very helpful CM agreed that the special event wasn't posted where she would expect to find it (via the DL App, Magic Key portal). She wrote up a comment form addressed both the Park Mgt and the Disneyland App team requesting that such events are clearly posted using the in-house (vs 3rd party) app.![]()
