Welcome back

Long time no see. As you can see we've gotten thee party started. NO final decisions on a meet, but I believe the pool area is the place of choice for our group. If everybody is in agreement, then y'all just give a shout out, and I will add it to POST 1

Unfortunately, it is time for me go into the kitchen and get something done, otherwise I will not be eating tonight.

I figured it was about time for me to check in again. I've been following along keeping track of everyone ;-) It's been a busy summer, had the chance to spend 5 nights on the Dream and had two Amazing days at CC!! Also booked three more cruises while onboard!! But now this is my Next cruise, and I'm so excited to get this party started!! I think my favorite part of this upcoming cruise will be to see it all through a newbies eyes! Can't wait to share the DCL experience with my "little" sister!! Is there any mention of a meet at the terminal or onboard yet?

How GREAT! I almost feel foolish looking forward to our first compared to all yours...b-u-t can't keep that excitement away for long! I think you need to post pics of all your adventures cruising...we only have a months and a few days to go!!! We love those pics...just makes the excitement a 'tad' harder, but more fun to wait for!!! Wow! Can't wait to hear more!

Hey guys...a question...

How do you add money to your stateroom credit? I wanted to throw some money on there so we dont have to worry about what we bring with us.

Also, can I put money on another room if I am the one who booked it? I wanted to put some spending money on my mother-in-laws room as they dont have much to spend and this will allow them a little play money.

Do I call, or can I do it on the website?

You can add cash to your account (or anyone else's) any time during the cruise by going to guest services.

We often bring a lot of cash for excursions and towards the end of the cruise we go down with whatever is left and add it to our account.

To do it ahead of time I believe you call the same number you do to pre-purchase stateroom gifts. On several cruises we've had friends put obc on our rooms as gifts. There will be a card in the room with the amount and who it is from. These credits are refundable back to the card used to pay for them if they are not used entirely. Unlike re-bookings and promotional obc (disney visa, on-line booking etc.) which are not-refundable. We've never had trouble spending any obcs as they can be used for anything you charge on-board and will be used before any form of payment.

Should we accept this challange? I would not call it much of a challange. We are already this morning on the next page. What says the Magic in Paradise crew?

I am ordering our rewards card at the beginning of the month so we will have it before we leave. I am using it this month to bump up the amount. According to the website it only takes 2-3 weeks to get it in the mail. The last time I ordered one it only took a couple weeks though at the most. I love using the Disney visa before all of our trips for that extra cash.

Also I think we will beat the other group no matter what anyway.

No we'll never catch up , we just had a newbie tell us that our 30 pages was to much to go back and catch up . But our small group is just as happy and excited too!

Also since you were on the Dream what did you think of her? Was it crowded?

We did enjoy the dream. There were a lot of fun new things that the kids really enjoyed. We had connecting inside staterooms, which you can't get on the older ships. We tried to do things that would be away from the crowds. The place you notice the extra people most is both getting on and then off the ship. We are not big pool people, so the crowds there didn't bother us. I think we were the first off and the last back on the ship on both our CC days, and the island is plenty big enough for everyone. I am really excited to get back on the Magic though. I still think the more intimate, smaller ships are my favorite!

I'm like you have got to be kidding me. I can do 30 pages of a real book in a couple of hours, and these threads aren't even anywhere close to the same amount of wording
