:thumbsup2 Thanks for the info! Has anyone done the Rhino Rider on St Martin and Doubloon Turtle on St Thomas? Really curious as to how you liked it..if you have. I haven't searched the threads to see what everyone's opinion was, but am curious.
And we don't get to do everything until July 25th either...which is just gonna have to be a really BIG day to celebrate (It's my xx Birthday) And I'm not real sure how I'm feeling about it...so I'm thinking settling all my cruise stuff is the way to Celebrate pixiedust:!!!!!

I called the TA today to see if we're linked...I don't see it on DCL's site, she said it was noted that 3 cabins are together...Everyone else who's worked with a TA notice that too? I want to make sure when we do excursions that we're linked.

Also, the inlaws will do the casinos (in St Martin?) so does anyone know if that is accessible by foot or will they rent a taxi?

A-n-d One more thing if I might ask...Do any of you have any ideas of little trinkets or surprises for a 50th Anniversary for the in laws? I thought I might try to add things to their rooms or door each day (kind of like the FE, but their not participating in our groups' FE)? I'm looking for a 50th Anniv banner to put on the door, but haven't found one yet...and I may try to make a special bag (or something) so I can drop 'happys' in it everyday. Anyone else have ideas?

Thanks y'all!!!

If you are looking for some fairly cheap but cute 50th stuff then try Party City or even Dollar Tree. They have some cute decorations like banners and such that you could put in their room. You can also find ribbons and different things to wear. They have a wide variety I know at Party City or Party Town. There are quite a few different names stores across the country. :thumbsup2

I am also interested in knowing how far the casinos are? I know there are some within walking distance but is the big one close?:confused3 I wanted to check it out after we got back from our excursion. I figure about 30 mins is all I need to lose any money. We never take more than $100 for that purpose for the two of us.:lmao:

What you need to do is to link your ressies between you and whoever you want to join you at palo. Your TA can do this or if you booked it yourself then call DCL. Once you are linked then the highest person (ie you) can make a ressie for all. Please note that they can only have one ressie for dinner, one for lunch and one for tea online so if you make it then that is the only time they get online. They can always try to get another ressie once we get on the ship at Rockin Bar D. As for checkin time, I would not sweat it. They are not checking it at the port so it is a non event. This is the Magic and not Dream so it will not be an issue. You will not be leaving them. You may be boarding a little earlier then they are but no big deal. On the other hand with a wedding to go to first you may be later on board. Don't worry the ship will not leave without anyone.

We're all already linked. So I can call DCL and they can add the other ladies to my reservation?

As for a banner for their room, check out Shindigz.com. You can order an 18" x 54" personalized banner for $14.99. http://www.shindigz.com/party/50th-Anniversary-Personalized-Banner.cfm

Thanks Laura! I always forget about Party City just because it's about 30 min from our house! But I bet I can find smaller things for their room or something for their door too!:thumbsup2

Oh so not true. I have seen us leave people in ports. They will leave without people. Examples would be people who did not book flights through DCL, did not book transfers thru DCL and had problems on the road, people who do not book DCL excursions, Ect.

Here is a link to a site that gives the locations of the casinos on St Maarten. Good Luck to you. :thumbsup2

Oh I have no problem with being there. I was born early. But my mother will need help getting my father in, so my concern was more that I could pick an earlier boarding time because I could choose earlier then she can online.

I guess we just wait and whatever she picks, I can change mine or just ask to stay behind to help.

Now my sister-in-law...she'll be sliding in as the bring up the gangplank.

Nope not me. I pride myself on my punctuality. For instance at my current job I have been there almost 12 years. Never been late or called in sick. Now I have seen people left in St. Thomas. On the Wonders Pamama cruise a couple was lucky we left PC a hour late. The came about 20 min after we were to leave but they were doing so much loading they made it. Overheard their flight to MCO was late. The flight, nor the transportation were booked through DCL.

Back from Rehoboth and into the work week. Gotta catch up on what i missed around here this weekend. I've scanned through but not all the way. Gonna go get supper started and then perhaps I'll be back later.

Have fun cruisers:cool1:

Thanks, the map doesn't make them look very close? Oh well, we will just have to figure out how to get there and back in plenty of time. No one is leaving me anywhere.:rotfl:

You can take a 10 minute water taxi ride from the cruise ship tier over to the philllipsburg pier for $4/person. It should be a short walk from there to the casinos. There is also Great Bay beach right there for those no interested in gambling and relaxing on the beach instead.

There is a difference between the checkin time you get online and the boarding number you get at the port. The online time is a time when you are supposed to arrive at the port. I would ignore this. Nobody is checking to see if you are early then what you signed for online. I would just show up whenever you are ready. If you are concierge then there is a special area for you to wait and you board first. Now the rest of your group are not supposed to join you in the special area but they can board with you according to the many reports here on the boards. Have a great wedding before you board.

As for your sister in law, don't let this be her.
