Alan, I see all times for palo brunch open on Thursday. You should try again. We got the palo dinner we were looking for.

Are you just a party of 2? See my mom will be with us. Everything for Thursday is gray. Says no reservations avilable.

Yes we are a party of two. Sorry you did not get Thursday. Hard to believe one more person made that much difference over all times. That stinks. I would try and change once we get on the ship. No harm in trying.

Good morning fellow cruisers. It is that time of the week again. Another week has gone by.
We now have only

Golf at Mahogany Run is unavailable
All other excusions are available

Palo brunch times for 2 are all available
Palo high tea times for 2 are all available
Palo dinner times for 2 are all available

All spa activities are available

All arrival times were also available. We took 10:30am.

Will they let you make a reservation for 1?

I'd like to go to Palo, but it's just me. Unless tHere's another single who'd like to join up for dinner?

That's the plan. If not we will enjoy our Brunch on Monday. I did get the 11:30 seating which made me happy. Did not do the online check in yet. Don't care about arrival time as we are using DCL from AKL.

Well I did online check in. Seemed pointless in picking a arrival time since we are using DCL transportation but I just picked 1-1:30. So I was thinking about separating our party of three into a party of 2 and 1 so we can get Brunch on Thursday. Of course the DCL site went down. Boy does their IT suck.

How exciting I have over a week before I can book:cheer2: hope there is still a brunch available.
What day would you recommend for dinner at palo?

Well if DCL IT does not get it together no one can book anything. As for Palo dinner, we are not fans of it so we don't recommend it.

What day would you recommend for dinner at palo?

I would recommend a sea day (Sunday, Monday or Thursday) for palo dinner if you can get it. The reason for a sea day is that you do not have to worry about returning early from a port excursion or cleaning up after a long hot day in port. We personally like Thursday due to you do not know what rotation you will get therefore you do not know what day you would get AP. AP does the full show on the first night you are assigned there. Also special nights are usual in the first few days like formal night. Thursday night is a semi formal night so to us no biggie to miss in the main dining rooms. Good luck to you in getting what day you want and what time you want.
Also one thing I would recommend is to ask for a window table. It is very nice to watch the sunset as you eat dinner. This was our view.

The dining menus should go as follows. Sat. Casual rotation. Sun. Formal Prince and Princesses. Monday casual rotation. Tuesday casual/Pirate, Wed Csaual Rotional, Thurs semi formal Captians Gala (Lobster night) Friday casual till we me again. If I were to do Palo for dinner it would not be Thursday for sure. I would not miss Lobster. Yes you can get it in Palo, but why pay extra for something that you can get in the dinning room?

Thank you :) do you know if you can have dinner on the Friday at palo? Since we are staying onboard for another week our last night on this cruise won't be rushed! It means we wouldn't miss any of the other special nights on the cruise.

In 14 weeks we will be in Florida
And I still have to move house before then I think the next few weeks are going to fly in:wizard:

Also I am 6 for 6 on getting into CC and intend on extending that record to 7 for 7. Even on a rough day where all the excursions were cancelled we made it in. The interesting thing was this was in 2009 where there was no huricanes around we almost did not make it to CC.

We had choppy seas while we was on the wonder in oct 09 they were handing out sea sickness tablets On our last night and there were not many people at till we meet again  but we did have a lovely day at castaway cay.:cool1:
