Good luck with your job search. Hopefully you will land something good soon.

Mother Nature turned off the heat here in Delaware. My car was frosted over this morning. We need to head south for the Magic soon. The cruise can't come soon enough. Only 308 days to the Magic.

Congrats to Bethshaya for being able to arrange for her wedding on CC. We'll all have to crash the ceremony and wish the happy couple well.

Yup, mother nature turned off the heat here too. TG for the gas company:lmao: There must be something about our local Christmas Parade that does it. It ALWAYS cold for that.

At least it stayed a little warmer this year than last. Now I just have to convince DH to sleep without the fan on all night. I was freezing:rotfl2:

And I already told DH we were crashing. Its a good thing we're all on the same floor. We can camp out and grab pics as she walks of the ship:woohoo: I'm very excited for them.

Evening cruisers

Relaxing while Dh cooks supper for us tonight. Brats and baked beans. Worked today and had my hours changed for tomorrow. I get to go in at 4am. Oh joy:rolleyes: Will be a little bit more per hour than my usual 6:30 shift so that will be good. Otherwise, not so much. Trying to catch up with the trucks for the holiday season.

Somebody stop by and say hello. Been so quiet here lately.

We are out here. Good luck waking up tomorrow. It is COLD here. No snow here but have heard snow south of here towards where you are. Any sightings? I have the ice scraper ready in the car for tomorrow. Hope it warms up soon. Still better than the 2 foot snow we had last year. What ever happened to global warming. :rotfl2:

It's been snowing off and on all day. We have had 5 inches so far and they are predicting up to 18 by the end of tomorrow. UGH! It's the first snowfall of the season, but I would have been happier with a dusting!

I'm just glad I wasn't working today. There really isn't much worse after working a 12 hour shift and having to brush/scrape your car. By that time. I just want to get home! Hope everyone stays warm!

Global warming :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Its bringing snow sightings to Chesapeake again. We had a dusting of snow last night here. I think Onslow was barking at it. He is a nutter:rotfl: If i see another 6 inches of snow this year, I will NOT be happy. I live in the South for God's sake. I don't want snow:lmao: But all my friends who were born down here do. Idiots:rotfl2:

I guess you can tell I only chat every few days. Sorry. :flower3: Anyway, I have been so busy trying to finish up Thanksgiving (our family celebrates a bit late since hubby always works holidays/weekends) and start gearing up for Christmas. :santa: I've been feverishly shopping online. There's no snow predicted (Thank Goodness!!!) but we will be super cold for the next 3 nights. Down to 31 to 34 degrees, plus there are some strong winds out there. :scared1: Is THIS global warning? :lmao: I like it a bit cooler for Thanksgiving & Christmas, but this is a bit much. Hope y'all have a super week:)

Evening cruisers

Got through work just fine. Not too bad when its only 8hrs as compared to 10 on Black friday. Tomorrow I go in at normal time of 6:30am.

MandMLUVMMandDVC: Glad to see you pop in. it is freezing up here with good wind gusts too. Walked onlsow this afternoon after a snack and by the time we got home an hour later my nose was pretty numb. Not really cold enough for a scarf, but dang if if i can't figure out how to keep my nose a bit warmer. I think Onslow would have walked all afternoon if I had.

On the job front got an email from Geico wanting to set up a phone interview. Never had 1 of these before. NO idea what to expect.

Good luck with your interview. hope it all works well for you.

Still cold here with a nice breeze. No global warming here. At least we have not seen any snow here. We have a customer service site in Buffalo that saw over 3 feet of snow. :scared1::scared1: Next week is supposed to be even colder here in Delaware with high's (yes high's) in the 20s :scared1::scared1:

OH DEAR GOD:eek:

20s for a high. That is definitely in the YIKES category. I hit the weather channel and it seems we'll be improving just a little into the low 50s. Reasonable. I remember last year when we adopted Onslow seemed like we plunged straight off the deep end into cold and it stuck all winter. Its better this year.

I applied as a service representative for Geico. And the email they sent said they evaluated my skills for a "variety" of open positions. We'll see what that means. There wasn't very many when i was searching. But they have a nice big office in VA Beach so its close by and the job looks interesting. So we'll see how it goes, and hope I don't have a heart attack during the interview. Set it up for my cell phone so I can walk Onslow when he needs it. Had to give a 3 hour window block. Hope it comes sooner rather than later.

I'd tell my parents but they'll just start calling everyone they know for info and to see if they can "help me out." Its time they stopped that.

I'll let you know how it goes after its done.

Wave Phones Now Available Onboard

Beginning on the Dec. 16, 2010, sailing of the Disney Wonder® and the Dec. 28, 2010, sailing of the Disney Magic®, families will have a great new way to stay in touch with one another. Portable Wave Phones will enable Guests to contact members of their party while onboard the ship or ashore at Disney’s Castaway Cay.

All staterooms will now offer two portable Wave Phones for complimentary use during the length of the cruise. Four phones are provided in the Royal Suite and 2-Bedroom Suite categories. Guests can rent an additional phone from Guest Services for $3.50 per day.

The Wave Phones replace the paging system previously used by Youth Activities. Parents with children participating in activities are now never more than a text message or phone call away.

All Guests are encouraged to utilize the Wave Phones for staying connected with their party while on the ship or at Disney’s Castaway Cay. However, Guests can opt out of using these phones and have the Wave Phone service disconnected in their staterooms.

If phones are lost, damaged or not returned to the stateroom prior to debarkation a $250 charge per phone will be applied to the Guest’s stateroom account. This charge will be mentioned on the payment authorization form that Guests complete during the check-in process.

Good luck with the PC cruise. We are SOOOO jealous. We would love to do the PC but with kids and two weeks of school does not work for us. We have been on the Wonder twice and will miss her. Maybe one day we'll have to do a MR cruise to visit the Wonder. Have a Wonderful cruise.
We now have only 300 days to this eastern cruise. :cool1::cool1:

We are excited because we will have done all of DCL's Westbound transits. I can't wait. I can't wait, and hope to get to take this cruise as well. I have never been to St. Marrten and I really want to get buzzed by some airplanes.

GUESS WHO'S BACK?!! We had a great time at our first WDW christmas. Except of course for the fact that they had record low temps the entire week we were there. It was colder there than here at home in CO. Just our luck. We didn't let it stop us from having a great time though. It was so funny. All of our pics will show us in jeans, sweats, sweatshirts, jackets, gloves. :rotfl: The majority of people were like that. On that Tue we went to the MVMCP they broke their record low. We were all lined up on main st waiting for the 10:30pm parade and were just shivering and walking side to side to stay warm. It wasn't really bad unless you were standing still. It was so cold that we all followed behind the end of the parade and followed Santa out the park. LOL! I got back to the room that night and my butt was so cold that I had to wrap my jacket around my waist and get in bed under the covers. I thought OMG, can you get frostbite on your butt?:rotfl2: How embarassing would that be?
The coldest part was standing on the boat docks waiting for the boats to take us back from Wilderness Lodge and Fort Wilderness to the MK. It was freezing wind blowing there.
The best part was the crowds were non-existent. The cold was keeping the locals away and the kids were still in school. We practically walked on all the rides. The longest we really waited was about 10-15 mins on a few. One day though we had FP for Soarin and waited 30 min the FP line? can you believe that? we have never waited that long. It made us late for our ADR but they got us in quickly so all was good.
All in all a great trip but I am SOOOO looking forward to our nice warm cruise and the wonderful beaches. It can't come too soon for me. I might be thawed out by then. :yay:

Welcome back from WDW. Glad you had a great time. After being there in the crowds in the summer heat, your lack of crowds sounds good. I guess that the water parks were out. Burr. It is a cold 25 degrees here in Delaware.
