Welcome to my new trip report! I'm so glad to have everyone here.
I just got back yesterday.
Disney's slogan is The Happiest place On Earth and the Place where dreams come true. I agree with both of those 110% and this trip proved them both to be right. This was my first trip as a DISer so I def. appreciated all the little Disney details a little more this time around.
This trip I took exactly 1,648 pictures.
The title says it all this trip was magical and of course there was drama but not too bad. It was also great to see all the Christmas decorations. There is nothing like Disney at Christmas time.
With out further ado here are the introductions:
Me- Hi, I'm Barbara
I am the loving wife and mother to my loving family. I used to be an art teacher but I got laid off in May so now I'm a SaHM to my two girls. I love planning Disney trips. I believe the planning is half the fun. I enjoy writing and photography so, put the two together and I love writing trip reports. My favorite ride is all the Disney classics and my favorite character is Donald Duck.
Next we have the children:
Amy- Amy just turned 11. She is small but mighty. Amy plays softball on the same rec. team as her sister, loves dance, and just started playing the clarinet in her school band. Her favorite rides are all 3 mountains, sum of all thrills, and TSM. Her favorite characters are the fairies; Tink to be exact. Did she get to see them this trip?
Emily- Emily turned 14 just a few days before the trip and we celebrated her birthday on the trip. Emily acts like she is 5 while at Disney. Her eyes light up when ever she sees a character and she always wants to take home every stuffed animal she sees. Emily plays softball on a rec team and does travel. She also has been playing the flute in her school band for a few years now. Oh yea, and she LOVES Disney. Sometimes I wonder if she loves Disney more than I do. Her favorite ride is TSM and she loves all the characters the same.
Last but not least we have the hubby,Mitch. Mitch works for a publishing company and travels on business trips about every month- month in a half.
Mitch tolerates my love for Disney. But he is usually the one to surprise me with booking the trips. His favorite rides are SM, Soarin', and TT. His favorite character is Figment. Mitch is the best husband you could ever ask for and he is always doing things for his girls.
When: November 21st-26th
Where- The double tree across the street from DTD. We were supposed to stay at the Dolphin but about a week before the trip Mitch switched us to a 2 bedroom at the DT because he needed more room. Out of 15 trips this was my second at a non-Disney hotel and my last.
Why- Our season passes were about to expire. We needed a Disney fix. And to see the christmas decorations. Do I need anymore reasons?
Coming up next the journey
