We are looking into doing the magic gathering at epcot illuminations curise has anyone done this or know of anyone that has . We are a party of nine and want to do the dinner ect on the boat. Can someone tell me the price range for this, or know of the web site I can find this information, Im not having luck on finding anything on this.

There is a grand gathering event in epcot that is an international dinner and illuminations - you watch illuminations from behind the shop at the entrance to world showcase with a desert buffet after your dinner. There is no cruise for illuminations. Price around $60 - or 2 DDP credits

There is a grand gathering cruise to watch the MK fireworks that has snacks at the contemporary before the boat ride and meeting with Peter Pan after. Price around 40.

There is also an illuminations cruise but it is not part of grand gatherings, anyone can book them but my understanding is that they are hard to book as they are very limited - I think around $250.

I did both the illuminations dinner and the MK fireworks cruise - would recommend the dinner/illuminations - very good and worth the price. The MK fireworks cruise was not worth the price - the boat has a canopy over it and the posts and the canopy block the view and the 'snacks' were just ridiculous. Prepackage bags of chips and popcorn and some sodas.

I would go to Ft.Wilderness and take the hayride - you get a better view of the fireworks and electric water parade w/ the sound piped in and it's a lot cheaper.

thanks so much for all the information i was wondering if u did the Safari Celebration Dinner, i think we are not looking into that one and now thanks to you the hay ride sounds like fun .
