What other resorts take the ME with the Poly? How does the drop off go? Also, do they drop you off and then later bring your luggage? Thanks!

They don't have set routes, but you can expect ME to stop at some combo of the Grand Floridian, Contemporary, and/or Wilderness Lodge.

If you let ME handle your luggage, it will show up in your room somewhere up to about 3 hours or so after you check in.

When we've gone on DME to the Poly it's been in combo with WL and the GF. Sometimes you will go to WL first, but DME always will go to the Poly before the GF because of a turn the buses can't make going the other order. Other than that, however, there's no set order and you may or not be grouped with those resorts. During off hours you can find some odd groupings.

If you use the DME luggage tags, your bags will not travel on your bus with you. They will be collected behind the scenes at MCO and taken on a truck with other bags. They will be delivered to your room up to three (sometimes four) hours after you check in (provided your room is ready at that time).

Now I think I read on here that if it goes to the Grand Floridian, they have to do that stop first. It has something to do with the way they are forced to turn around in there or something. Hopefully I'm not making that up and someone can confirm it.

You aren't making it up, but it's the other way around. The Poly stop has to come before the GF stop.

Ok, good to know. Thanks! Just trying to plan a dinner rez and wasnt sure how long it would take from airport to Poly.

When we took ME to the Contemporary last Sept. We went to Poly first, followed by Grand Floridian and then CR.

We got lucky in December....we went to ME first thing in the morning (around 8am) and we were the only ones on the bus...took us straight to the Poly...it was cool

For planning purposes, I would use an estimate of 90 minutes from deplaning to resort arrival. Frequently it will take less time than that (the average cited is about 70 minutes), but better safe than sorry when planning ADRs and the like.
