Magic Express tags

My travel agent says that she will get the ME tags at the office and she will call me when they come in. My reservations have been set for months with Alls star movies so when should they arrive??? I leave on Good friday. At what point do I call disney and if they dont come in then how will the airport know to MExpress my luggage???

According to the CM that I spoke with regarding my yellow ME tags, she said they would arrive about 10 days before our scheduled arrival date.

We had originally planned our trip for March 18th and I rec'd them on the 12th.

We never got our tags. Our trip was 3/11 and they were supposedly sent out 2/4. We had to get our own bags and bring them to the check in counter then onto the bus. It wasn't a big deal and at least I knew they made it to Orlando. When we got off the bus we had to get our bags and check in at the resort. A van driver took us and our luggage to our room.

We leave 4/2 and we got our tickets 3/21. Our TA said they normally get the tags at the 2 week mark.

Magical Express tags are sent out 14 - 21 days before your scheduled departure. The are sent to the entity making the reservation, in this case your Travel Agent - so her plan for you to pick them up from her makes a lot of sense. There's NO chance they'll get lost in the mail between her and you.
YOU don't need to deal with Disney at all; in fact, they would probably direct you to contact the Travel Agent, since she "owns" (is responsible for) your reservation.
No airport needs to know to Magical Express your luggage, nor does any airport care. By attaching the yellow tags to your luggage, ASIG, the company responsible for transporting DME luggage from the Orlando airport to the individual resorts, will know to pull that luggage before ANY bags are put on the public carousel. They will then take care of their part of getting your luggage directed correctly.
On the SLIM chance that your tags never show up, simply bring your luggage claim checks to the DME counter. The CM there will note your claim check numbers and will show you photographs of various luggage so you - and therefore they - can identify your bags and pull them behind the scenes, along with all the tagged luggage.
Alternatively, you could of course detour to the luggage carousel yourself, wait for the behind-the-scenes stuff to finish, wait for the remaining luggage to appear in public, wait for your bags to finally come out on the belt, try to squeeze your way through the throngs so you can grab your bags before they go around again (and again), drag it all down to the DME counter, check in, drag your luggage to the bus, have the driver stow it underneath the bus, have the driver pull it at your resort, tip the driver, drag your luggage to the front desk, check in,,,

We also leave Good Friday as part of a Magical Gathering and we received our tags, but my parents and sister who are also part of the group have yet to receive them. They aren't worried yet because of the fact they say 10 earlier but we were super psyched to receive our

Hi Everyone:
We will be arriving on 4/9 after 11:00PM...When should I expect to see my luggage. I will bring PJ's for my girls...but do you think I should also carry on clothing for the next day?

We leave on the 15th and our DME package arrived at our TA last Wed., 3/23. On the other hand my cousin who is also leaving the same day/flight booked directly w/ Disney hasn't received his DME yet. I do have one concern though, my TA didn't input my flight info! I don't know why she would leave that info out?? Good thing I'll be making a call to DME for my reservation myself!
