Magic Express Question

Okay I searched and didn't find a answer so here goes.

We are getting to Orlando a couple of days before we check into Disney and renting a car for those days to go out to NASA and such. I was looking and it appears I have to return the rental car to the airport at which point is it possible to use Disney Magic Express to get to our resort or do you have to have flown in that day. It appears we can take our bags to the check in area so I'm not sure how or if this would work.

Yes, you will be able to use Magical Express. You do need to make a reservation in advance. Just make it for the approximate time you expect to be done turning in the car, and turn it in on the "B" side of the terminal - since that's where the Welcome Center is (and don't worry - all the onsite rental agencies have counters on both sides of the terminal).

Each Disney resort Guest is entitled to one DME trip from the airport to the resort, on or after the day the reservation starts; and one trip from the resort to the airport, on or before the day the reservation ends.

Yes, you will need to bring your own luggage to the bus. The driver will stow it underneath, and a tip (not covered by Disney because DME isn't being used exactly as designed) is customary.
