Magic Express Luggage Tags

Hi there!

About a month ago, I called and made arrangements for myself for the Magic Express to pick me (and DF) up and take us to OKW. At that time, they said they would send the luggage tags out right away. Then... a couple of weeks later when I realized they hadn't come yet, I called up to find out if they had been sent. They said they only send them out 7-10 days before the travel date! So, I said ok... and went on my merry way a little worried because I live in Canada and it does take a while to get here! But they told me, if I don't get them, it is ok because I can just walk up to the ME booth with my luggage claim tags and they'll take care of it. I had no problem with this until I read that after November 1... they won't take 'walk ups' and that you have to make a reservation.

And yes... I have a reservation but how can I prove this without luggage tags??? :earseek: Help please!
 
Because you will be in their computer as a pre-reserved reservation. Just call a couple of days before you leave to make sure you are in their computer.

(Ooooh, that sounds weird, why would somebody be "in" a computer :) )
 
We leave friday and our tags arrived today. I wouldn't worry, they will probably get there and if not, you can retrieve your luggage yourself or allow them to do it with your claim tickets.
 
"Walk-ups" translates to those without reservations. You have a reservation, and when you think about it, your tags would be on your luggage, and not with you, so it wouldn't matter anyway.
