Hi all,

I will be arriving at MCO around 9:30 PM (assuming no delays) and taking the magic express to Coronado for one night.. The next morning, we are going to be going to the Poly for the remainder of our stay. Is it worth using the luggage service/ will it even be running?
Should I:
A) just pick up my checked bags at the carousel and bring them along
B) roll the dice with the luggage service bringing it to Coronado in a timely manner
C) see if they can hold the luggage and send to poly the next day?

The luggage service doesn't run past 10pm, so if you're delayed then you will likely run into issues. I wouldn't risk it anyway unless you don't need your luggage until the next day.

Since luggage service ends at 10 PM, you are cutting it pretty close. I would plan on just picking them up yourselves. If you do arrive before 10, and Disney collects the luggage, you might see delivery to your room at something like one in the morning. You won’t be able to get your luggage sent to the Poly from the airport, because your tags will be going to Coronado. But, the next morning you can ask luggage services at the Coronado to transfer your bags to the Poly.

Thanks all! I will just pick up from the carousel. Also, thanks for the clarity on the luggage service ending time-- i got conflicting info from 2 different CM's. One said 10 PM, the other said its 24 hr service (not just the transportation but luggage too)

If we land before 10:00 we let them get our bags. I'm not going to need them so there's no reason for me to spend time getting them and hauling them around the airport. I request Bell Services to hold the bags and put the occupied sign out. Then the next day I give them my carry on bag and have them move those, along with the checked bags, to our next resort.

Similar to @AngiTN, I would choose option C. Tag your luggage. Let CMS transport it. Have Bell Services hold it overnight. I think you need to wait until m!o4ning to get it transferred.

Worst case, your flight is delayed and lands after 10. Then you are forced into option A. But why make extra work for yourself?
