Magic Express Availability - Ask and Ye Shall Receive...

WHEN YOUR STAY IS OVER, YOU CART YOUR OWN LUGGAGE ONTO THE DISNEY'S MAGICAL EXPRESS BUS FOR YOUR FREE RIDE BACK TO THE AIRPORT. HOWEVER, IF YOUR AIRLINE IS ONE OF THE PARTICIPATING AIRLINES, YOUR LUGGAGE GETS TAKEN FOR YOU FROM YOUR RESORT, AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY CHECK IN FOR YOUR FLIGHT AT YOUR RESORT.

Wow! Let me understand this. If your airline is participating in ME (mine is NWA), we don't have to check-in our luggage or get our tickets from the terminal, we can get it from the front desk? So, does this mean when we get to the terminal that we just go right to the dectector and right straight to the gate?

I am assuming from the previous posts that DVC members staying on property are entitled to this Magical Express benefit as well - I am very disappointed when I made my reservation today for our stay at SSR in July that this benefit was not offered or mentioned to me by the CM.
I am curious that once they start this new process how long it is going to actually take from MCO to the resorts. We stopped using Mears awhile back due to the fact that it was taking over 2 hours to get from the airport to the resorts. I hope there is better planning with Magic Express, it could really turn out to be a very positive arrangement.
