Well, Peg and I were just chatting on the phone at the end of the work day....and we want to think about making our ficticious person a man....'cause he could end up being as big as a linebacker by the time we're done loosing

Or we could do a family....start with the 'mom' till we hit about 125ish, then start working on some kids/hubby for her.

Carolyn.....Disneyland is ON for July 14/15/16. Arrive Friday night, do the parks Sat, have breakfast/brunch buffet at Storyteller's Sunday before heading home. Wanna come? Anyone else wanna come?

Jackie...posted on the other thread that we're in for DL! Adam's having his birthday party on that Sunday, so we'll have to leave mid afternoon Saturday, but we're perfectly content with 1/2 day at DL. Think about how you'd like to fit in a meet. We've been there a lot, though not since Mikaila's last birthday, so they don't remember much. BUT, we're going to WDW in November, so missing something in July is not critical for any of us. Well, at least, I hope not!

Good luck this weekend, ladies...off to tidy the flower beds. No major yardwork today, but maybe some dirt shoveling this weekend. That'd be a good workout!

I like the name Bubba for the guy, how about OR...what if we named them Christopher/Wendy/ (Pooh, PeterPan) and then can work on this kids from various Disney shows? I always thought Christoper Robin would grow up to be a great guy!!!

I think you guys should come on Friday night - we'll be hitting town around 6-6:30 ish if we don't stay at the outlet mall in Palm Springs too long.

Busy weekend, but highlighted by the father/daughter performance at the fair this afternoon. I love my husband. They did a 70's Village People set of dances with the girls. It was GREAT!

Oh, and Jackie and Peggy, we're booked at Candy Cane Inn!!

Hope everyone had a good weekend...totally went off and had an In-n-Out fix after the big performance. Oh, man...perfect burger and fries!

Oh, that's Marque!! I thought Marque was the pool-boy and the new pool girl had been replaced with the old pool boy! I was confused!! Don't know anything about horses, but he sure looks beautiful to me, Peggy. Oh, and I should dig up some old bad perm pictures of myself for you to giggle at! Tried to explain people getting perms to the kids the other day. They were confused and Adam said, seriously, "But, only girls right?" I had to break it to him that, yes, some boys permed their hair, too!

Dinner in DL? You'll probably want to throw something at me, but we've only eaten at the Rainforest Cafe (is it?) in Downtown Disney. Usually, we just get counter service. Geez...first the blasphemous "playing by ear" on the meet thread and now the blasphemous "never eaten at a DL area restaurant" remark. Are you all going to let us board with you?

ESPN would never be high on our list. DH jokes that he lacks the sports gene. We LOVE to watch the kids play and an occasional baseball game, anything else would have to be free tickets or having a fever at home and no energy to change the channel.

Carolyn - I gotta say - that Brent is making HUGE points with me. He dances with his daughter, and he is missing the sports gene - sounds like my DH!!!!
YIPEE for us - not having to listen to hours and hours and hours of sports in the back ground!!! Mine is into Sci-Fi - which is OKIE DOKIE with me, I am a trekkie and stargate lover!

I personally like the restaurant in New Orleans area - Jackie help me... I think its Blue Bayou? Is that correct? Or is that where I've always wanted to eat and never have? I'm easy with the where we go - thing. I just want to see you guys!

Marque turned 21 on 4/15/06 (my mother-in-laws) Birthday too!

I have a cute little girl too (Mystic) I'll have to get her photo scanned in. She's a buckskin and such a "cookie" monster. Cookies' being carrots, apples, oats.

I rode my bike twice last week, and I was so tired and out of shape it was sad. SO it is time. I haven’t been one a scale since my last fight physical. I know that I have gained a LITTLE weight. My biggest probable is my total lack of self control. I like to eat and eat what ever I want, and of course I am not 20 years old anymore. The only Diet I have been on was to gain weight when I was racing. And I am a big fan of Coke-a-Cola and I do not like Diet. But that is my first step I guess. I am switching to total water, or at least a lot more water. Baby steps. At least with the summer here and the Girls out of school tomorrow we will do a lot more Dirt Bike riding and my Bicycle will get more use than last year.

Good for you Devin - baby steps is the key. If I had thought 5 weeks ago my knee would feel so much better I would not have believed you...but it all starts somewhere. I am so WITH you on the "why can't I eat whatever I want, when I want - I'm active"...those days are over for me too!

Peg, dinner has to be outside the park (unless you want to get a 2 day hopper...extra $37ish per person, parks open till midnight)...Carolyn, you guys have AP's right? Baby steps, Devin...that's my mantra, too! You all have had a lot of stress recently, probably is time to focus on you. Water is good.

Peggy...Yeah, DH made a lot of points with me, too, just for saying he'd do the performance, let alone how much effort he put into it at the time. He told me later that the only reason he did it was because he knew how happy it would make Mikaila and I. (Unfortunately, in our house, DH points expire at midnight....poor guy, he has to re-earn them every day. There is a little residual goodwill from all the points earned yesterday, though!) (We like Stargate, too, but got out of the habit of watching when we realized two different story lines were on two different channels. Never did figure out what all that was about...And, I loved Next Generation...Captain Picard was such a stud!)

Jackie...no AP's here. (I'm telling ya, I'm losing Disney-points all around today.) If we meet for dinner Friday, it'll need to be out of the park. Storytellers sounds good. Do you know if it could be easier to take the CCI shuttle there? We really won't care where we go, if you two have preferences, except I wouldn't choose something extremely classy or..um...sushi. Other than that, we'd probably be ok.

Your DH sounds a lot like mind. Vito Sr does not watch sports, feels no need to "hang out with the Guys" and will do anything to make his kids happy. We are truely blessed. You also had me LOL when you thought Marque was the pool boy. I don't know why I thought it was so funny but I am still laughing while I am typing.

Hey Michelle - glad to see you! Oh my gosh guys - it's so hot here I just feel like crawling into a hole!!!! I couldn't get cool yesterday and when I got home from our DL pre-trip meeting (wine was included) I jumped into the pool and went to bed under the fan - ahhhhhhh MY intention was to get up at 6 and go to the gym. Here I am, almost 7 and I'm at the computer. arrrghhh

I just feel like I'm not sleeping well and dragging the entire day. I really must concentrate on water today, I think that might be part of the problem, if I don't get it all in, this heat just kills.

We are looking forward to our DL trip and meeting Brent & Carolyn very much. Jackie the planning Goddess - has been at work - let me tell you. I think you guys should let us know if the kids would enjoy the characters (personally I think yes) so we should meet at Goofy's Kichen. I think watching the children re-act to the character's is just about as much fun as me getting a hug from TIGGER!!!!

Ok, kids. I am going to the gym - my big boss is out of town and I am GOING to get this schedule back on track before he comes back.

OK....behind schedule....must get in the shower....must eat breakfast....must drag myself to work.

OH, my boss (well one of them) arrived at AKL yesterday with her two little girls and I got a very excited phone call from them. She had forgotten I told her to request a room with bunk beds, so they were very excited to see that request granted, as well as being on the 3rd floor. The little girls were changing into their swimsuits while we were on the phone and then went out onto the balcony. OMG you should have heard the squeels when they saw the animals! It's so much fun to hear about people's first WDW experience...I hope they have a great time

Well, the water is going down and it does help. I never made it to the gym this morning but I did something I never thought I could - I went at lunch time!!!!

I did a good hard 30 minutes non-stop in the pool and feel amazing! I picked up a salad and hit my desk back in 1hour 10 minutes! Whew! Thank God for those claw like hair things. I just put it up and dried my bangs. I'm

BACK ON TRACK!!!

Yippee for me. I watched a re-run of Oprah's "boot camp" where she took 4 of her employees and helped them lose weight. Got me re- motivated! That boot camp looks tough... now I don't think I can committ to that, but there is NO reason why I cannot get my 30 minutes a day in!!!! NO EXCUSE for me.

My SIL and BIL have just started the same program I am on and they are going on the cruise with us....very cool......

Not a great week for me...was at a wedding on Friday and the US Open all day on Saturday...no eating on program on Saturday...drank all my water but retained it all because of the heat...darn toes looked like sausages!

But back on track on Sunday and have almost lost all of the 6 pounds I gained for the weekend...

If only Phil had won...it would have been worth it....
