Magic Double-dip "SCOOP AWAY THE POUNDS"

Welcome Becky, you will find a great and supportive bunch here!

I am still stuggling to get my basic 64 ozs of water in! Any good suggestions anyone could throw my way?

Do you guys ever think that the water company is in kahoots with the toilet paper company? Because the more I drink, the more I go and the more I go the more I have to run to Wal-Mart to get toilet paper.

Ok Miss Sherry - you had me in tears one moment (your son's quote) and the next I'm laughing out loud!!!!:Pinkbounc :cheer2: :rotfl: Oh My God!!!

Welcome Becky and you are a STAR in my book!!!

I won't tell y'all what I had for dinner tonight (hormones?) Just a little set back you know Carolyn - too bad I didn't read your post about pizza TILL AFTER I ate 4 slices (thank god thin crust and only cheese) not extra but still!!!!! OH MY GOD - I'm stuffed.

Holy crap Dee - 130 oz of water - I'd never be able to leave the bathroom. I drink about 80 and HAVe to have my 8 oz of coffee... but I'm doing good. Oh, that was one thing the massage therapist said...he knew I hydrated well because my skin bounced back quick. That's how we check our horses for hydration after an event - so I know it works!

Ok, I weigh in tomorrow and I'm sure I won't be down - but no worries, I'm not freaking out. I'll just go back on plan and I really do think the last two night I'm not sleeping well, has a lot to do with my mood. Works been stressful because of the newsletter (never did it before - new program) but it really is moving along and I was fretting for NO reason. Dupia osh (polish for dumb fanny). Not spelled right I'm sure...

i digress - DEE - you once again inspired me - mowing the lawn for your DH - gosh gal you are the kindest person.

MICHELLE - HEY there - we've missed you - can you chat next week?

JACKIE - WAY TO GO SISTAH - you just keep on rockin' and I'm so proud of you - guess what? The pool isn't green anymore. The pool boy ( Carolyn) was here today - actually I have a girl now *yuck - and fixed the water fall handle and fixed the algae situation. Come for a dip tomorrow? I have to see the ponies - but I might stop in first thing in the a.m. if I get up early. I'm going to do my laps at lunch I think - so I'll have the evening free. Trying a "new" plan - we'll see how it goes. Ok, I've flapped enough - hope I didn't miss any one - if I did - trust me, it's my farting brain - not that you aren't important to me. Good night all.

Welcome Becky! I've seen the infomercial on the 6 Week Body Makeover (actually, I've sold them commercial time on our station) and think it looks very interesting....even came 'this close' to ordering it ::yes:: Love to hear more about it from someone who's doing it.....and successfully!

Of course.....I have to try on the new CROCS!!!!

I do want to check out the new NBC show "Windfall"....(and they'd fire me if they knew I can't remember what time it's on!!), so we can swim around that.

Funny....Peg and I both had a bit of a 'problem' with dinner tonight. Separately, without each others knowledge, we both indulged in pizza. I however had a HUGE salad with mine...a 'individual' sized (6 inch) thin crust...however there was sausage on it....my main weakness. Come on....confess....does anyone else indulge a bit after weigh-in day?

Welcome becky
I tried to do the 6 week total body makeover, but could not last through the 2nd week. I could not stand eating scrambled egg white every morning. I still wish I could try it again but I gag just thinking about it.
Dee
great job again this week mowing the lawn is a lot of work. I cut our grass but we have 3 acres and I use a tractor so no work out there.
Jackie and Peg
You 2 are so connected even when you are not trying (pizza).Well today is a new day and yes Jackie when I did WW I would always indulge the day of weigh in.Also thanks for updating the weight on page 1.
Sherry
you son is so cute  My son is older and now trying to be wiser is always calling me his "hot mamma" thinking he is boosting me self asteam its so funny what kids will say.
I also wanted to tell everyone that I bought the tea-to-go that Dee suggested and it is WONDERFUL i found that in the tea isle some of the herbal tea companies are making some and they are great too. I mix them with 64oz (they say mix it with 8oz)of water and really helps to make the h2o more enjoyable Thanks Dee!!

I have been doing the program since February...May was not really a great losing month for me...ggrr....oh well life goes on...

They suggest 100 ozs...I usually go a little over since I drink most of it at work and still have some at night with dinner...

I can't do the egg whites...I eat a lot of chicken...even for breakfast...while that would bother some people it does not bother me..don't know why....I also like pancakes for dinner...

It is hard...I have to cook a lot which I am not used... :rotfl: now I know why all those other foods are "convenience" foods.

My bestfriend started this program and has had a lot of success....her and husband did it together and now he is going to run the NYC Marathon...and one of the local TV stations in AZ is going to interview them... :cool1:

I think the hardest part it sticking to anything and I give everyone here a lot of credit for sticking with their own programs. Keep it up!

Becky in NJ

Michelle..glad you liked the on the go. I love it in my 64oz jug each day. In fact I having been drinking two of them at work (thank goodness I do not pay for the tp here, :rotfl: ) and then several glasses of water in the evening.

I hope when Dh comes home this weekend he really appreciates the lawn mowing and helps with some of the packing. :thumbsup2 I am getting more excited about doing some stuff as I am not in pain and it is easier to bend over. I am excited about losing like Becky. That must feel awesome. You must really see a difference and that alone probably keeps you going.

I do not cheat after weigh-ins (anymore) because I am afraid I will gain and I do not want to have to lose the same weight twice. :guilty:

Well all you losers it is o&D from here.

Words to live by! Losses are so hard fought and, right now, the treats just aren't that important (did I say that??). Today is official weigh in for me and, as I suspected, last week's 3 was too good to be true. I'm up one, BUT (really big BUT here! Sorry for the pun.), today I'm also extremely crampy and...um...hormonal. So, up only one on that kind of day is fabulous for me!:)

Dee...have you been married long? I just think it's so nice that you mowed the lawn for you DH! I hope he appreciates you!

Peggy...sorry about the new pool gal! What kind of events are your horses in? Didn't mean to add to the pizza guilt with the calorie count, just thought it was interesting. One slip won't do you in with all that exercising you're doing anyway!!

Jackie...I think I either have a lot of willpower, or I have none. History has shown that if I slip a little, I'll slip a lot. I didn't cheat after last week's three, because I just wanted MORE!:) Greedy little thing, aren't I?:) (And, honestly, I don't think a tiny pizza and a huge salad is cheating!)

Becky...man, I don't think I could cook every meal. My kids think pancakes are a dinner food!:) I'll cook just about any dinner, but breakfast is cereal and lunch in sandwiches (maybe, if they're really lucky: soup...oooohhhh!)

Michelle...I'm going to look for the tea on the go. Sounds good...this flood of water going in me could use a little spicing up.

Good luck over the weekend, everyone! We have a birthday party for sissy on Saturday, but I'm not even looking forward to the cake with butter cream frosting. I'm not...really...

Carolyn

I have also found that if I cheat....I give it my all! :rotfl:

We have a wedding on the 16th that I would prefer not to go to....too much tempation...I am a "this is obviously the last meal I will ever get/nothing in moderation" person! :rotfl2:

I don't cook every meal....almost every morning before I shower I go light up the grill and cook my chicken and while that is cooking, I measure out my fruit, veggie and carb for the day and pack them up...then I grab the chicken measure it out and pack it up...since I only buy packages of chicken that are over a pound I can carry some over for the next day...so I usually cook two mornings in a row and then not cook on the third day....

They also have some great crockpot menus that can be used for at least 3-4 days when they are measured out...

What is really killing me is how often I have to run the dishwasher for all the handy-dandy ziploc containers! :confused3 For only two of us I used to only run it once a week...now it is almost three times a week....

PS. I don't mow the lawn! :rotfl:

Carolyn, you crack me up. I'll bet next week will be down. As for the cake, if youdeny yourself it you will only want it even more. For the shower, I planned out what I was gonna eat and even figured out how many points the cheese was gonna be. I took my piece, that I had dreamed about for a week, tasted it and gave it away. I could not believe hat after the inital taste, I did not want anymore. What a freak. I am the cheese cake and eclair queen. Now I have been denying myself Wendy's for a couple weeks. Tomorrow is payday and tonight I am gonna get it. I am not gonna deny myself anymore. I AM GONNA PLAN FOR IT AND THEN DO IT! :rotfl2: Did I say that so loud. Wow maybe I am feeling good about myself. ;) Dh and I have been together for 21 years and married for 8. :lovestruc He still give me butterflies. He is my soulmate. I was really lucky the second time around. My ex and his wife are on this cruise with us, and we are more like cousins. Very wierd. Thank goodness we get along so well. His wife and I have a great relationship. She is so excited about this cruise as well.

Becky I know what you mean about the last meal. That is why I do not go to buffets anymore. :lmao: I do not usually mow the lawn either, but it needed it, I needed the excercise and DH and I do not live together. We have our appraisel next week and I want the house to look good so it appraises.

Okay my fellow losers, I will check in later. Remember not denying yourself, just plan for it and no beating yourselves up! :thumbsup2

faireygod mother: You go ahead sister friend and get that Wendy's- you deserve it! You were soooo sweet what you wrote about your husband- I love a good love story! :lovestruc

michelle9343: how old is your son? I have two little boys that are the light of my life- they are 4 and 8. Also, what kind of tea to go did you get- the Green Tea?

TiggersPal: Good luck on your weigh in- this is me cheering for you :cheer2:

Okay I did it. I had Wendy's. I planed and figured points and re-planned to get there and find out they no longer have "Biggie" fries  I did not plan for anything else. So I winged it to find out that the points on DWLZ were incorrect. :worried: Then to top it off they did not give me my salad. So I only ate half the chili on my fries. YUMMY. It was a blessing indisguise. I had 2 points left over, versus being over had they not screwed up the whole order. There is a movie out that talks about the drive thru, I think it was lethal....something. It was with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover. Anyway you guys get my point.

So I sit here now and ask myself, was it worth it?.......No. Next time I will get the fries and chili, now that was worth it. The Jr Cheeseburger is not as good as the bacon cheese burger. I still had a nice treat and was able to make the choice and do not feel deprived at all.

Oh I just have to share this with you guys. Tomorrow I get to see my DGD. She is still not making an entrance, but my DDIL is having an ultrsound to see how much she weighs, her daddy was 10 pounds when I delivered him and I am hoping she will be at least 8. I have never seen this type of ultrasound so this is gonna be very interesting as well to watch this. I am so excited :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
I am gonna wear pink for the occasion. :cloud9:

So happy for you Dee - I'll be thinking of you!:cloud9: pixiedust:

Dee
I have ro say I HATE drive thrus!!I love when you order a salad and they forget you fork or chili and no fork or how about a frosty and no spoon. I could go on and on. I always try and check that they got it right but sometimes the line is so long you hate to hold it up. Today sounds like an exciting day. When is DDIL actual due date?
Sherry
My DS (Vito) is 10. He is such a great kid. I sometimes forget he is only 10. With all of his sisters health problems he really had to grow up fast. I doesn't help that he is almost as tall as me. I love the green tea to go also zingers has a green tea with peach and mango flavor that I just love. I just always put them in alot more water then they suggest.
I'm also sad to say no loss for me this week, but atleast no gain eaither. Vito jr as been doing AMAZING. He has lost 6 pds and I am so happy for him. I think its all of the swimming we have been doing .Have a great day everyone :sunny:

I don't mow the lawn because Mike is afraid I will end up mowing over myself and I hate yard work...I will do anything but yard work...Mike just has to deal!

We are probably putting our house on the market at the end of the summer...I am so not looking forward to that...Have to keep it neat all the time is a real challenge for me...I am better at dieting than cleaning! :rotfl2:

Dee, That is so neat about your granddaughter...have fun!

Dee...have a great time at the ultrasound. How fun! Don't forgot to bring a tissue. Those things make me cry. Is it one of those new-fangled 3-D ultrasounds?

Sherry....good luck keeping the house clean and selling it this summer. Is the house market good where you are? It was on fire for years here. Since we bought this house 7 years ago, the market value has more than doubled. It's really slowed the last six months, though. Not that we're selling, just fun to watch the frenzy! Some of our neighbors have REALLY made out!

Carolyn

psssssttt.....The pound my little friend brought along yesterday has taken it's leave....:)

Well, I am sorry to say that things did not work out as planned. I did not get to see the ultrasound, but I did get to hold and kiss her. My DDil went into labor around 5am and delivered a beautiful 7lb 15 oz 20 inch little girl. Miss Liliahna came into this world at 3:54 p.m. I am in love. She looks like her daddy. We ended up not having her at my hospital, so all that food planning was a wash. I had an extra protien bar and my Dsis was great and brought me water. I made it through with out going off the diet.

Thanks for letting share. I will check in with you all later.

Caroly, glad your down.

congrats Dee!!!

i am back...i had fallen way off the wagon but my trip is now over and my hubby and i are all going to be eating healthier now...nothing like a trip where you are on your feet and walking all day long to make you realize how out of shape you are!!!! :rotfl:

CONGRATULATIONS GRANDMA! :grouphug: and :welcome: to sweet Linahna!

Welcome home, txaggie! Tell us all about your trip!

Oh, Dee, congratulations on the new little one!! How exciting for your family! Liliahna is a beautiful name. Enjoy your little blessing...maybe add an extra DIS smooch or two for us:)....
