Thanks! We are not driving we are actually making this a multi stop Disney trip. We are headed to DL for a few days before the cruise then flying in from LA to catch the cruise!

Where are you staying at, Roni? We need to choose a hotel for one night. Does it offer free parking for the week, and a shuttle to the port?

I did the name your price on Priceline for any hotel in the area and ended up with Holiday Inn Resort Galveston. I usually get good deals by doing the name your price, but we aren't needing a shuttle to the port, I booked the Disney shuttle from the airport that sat morning. But thier website shows that they do offer parking for cruisers staying with them... but I'm not sure about shuttle service... Sorry I'm not much help.

That's OK. I still need to find somewhere. I posted a thread about it and was given some suggestions, but I haven't called to book yet. It's one of those things I'm dragging my feet on...like the passports. UGH. LOL

Would anyone like to head up the FE process??? I have no idea what it entails and I'm not imagining it to be too difficult, so do I have any volunteers?? Any veterans?!?!?!

Hello:

My husband and I will be on the Dec. 8 cruise with our almost five year old daughter. Her birthday is in December. My dad lives in Orlando so ever since she turned one we've traveled from Texas to Disney and celebrated her birthday and Christmas. But this year we saw the special for the Disney Cruise and couldn't resist. It's only a three hour drive from Austin so we're really excited about not having to fly! I have yet to tell Delilah's grandpa though...!

My daughter is actually quite reserved and needs a bit of time to come out of her shell when she's in new situations but she comes around eventually. I'd love to find other kids for her to play with as she's an only child who loves all kinds of pretend play and the pool of course!

Anyway, I've requested to get on the Facebook page so I'll talk with you all over there.

Trish, my daughter is 4 and loves imaginary play as well. She is a little reserved at first, but will open up as well with time.
Maybe we can plan a meet n greet for all of the dissers when we board the ship, so that way we know who everyone is from the start, and it gives the kiddos a chance to meet new friends?

Roni, that's a great idea! Mine is a little younger at 3.5 at the time of the cruise, but she gets along well with older kids (she's the baby in this side of the family).

That's nice... We couldn't keep our trap shut for 3 minutes after booking !!!
