Rachelsmom97 & Caropooh can you confirm how many seats you require on the coach London to Dover please? I already have Dizney73's request.

I have just generated a spreadsheet, so adding names etc..

I will post a message similar to on my other cruise to see if anyone else needs transport to port.:thumbsup2

We will want 4 seats

Hello all!

This is my first post!! :wave2: I have been reading these boards for a couple of years and have finally made the plunge to posting! We just completed B2B cruises on the Wonder from Miami. We have not been on the Magic before and my kids are really looking forward to the Avengers Academy.

So excited to be going on this cruise! :good vibes It will be me, my DH, DS (8) and DS (6) at the time of sailing. We are also doing B2B with the 5 night Mediterranean from Barcelona following this cruise.

ReadingFC/ Paul - We are interested in taking part in the private coach from London to Dover. I can't PM you because i don't have enough posts yet but am now working on getting up to those 10 posts!

Hi everyone...

We are booked on this cruise, there will be myself, DS(17) Jordan and DD(14) Alice.

This is the same as our first cruise in 2010. We fell in love with DCL on that cruise and this time it will be our 5th.

So looking forward to this cruise as I love Gibraltar and being from the UK it is easy as just a short flight home :-)

We will be in stateroom 7136 :cheer2:

Just looked at our stateroom numbers and we are also in the Deck 2 community:cool1:! 2075/2075, also back between mid and aft. I can picture the FEs hanging all over, already!

Pirate night: There were a lot of people looking totally awake at the Pirate Party on my last cruise, and chowing down at the Pirate Buffet (on the Wonder). Personally, I was ready to fall on my face with exhaustion. Some of my friends didn't even make it up on deck but luckily were able to catch some of the fireworks from their verandah room. It's hard to think of a good time for it on a port-intensive cruise like this. First sea day - too soon. Last sea day - too late!

We have been on 3 Disney cruises and have yet to go to the pirate party! My DH and DS 4 (at the time) have made it to half of one. I have only seen the fireworks from the verandah. Otherwise we have been way too tired to go!

What dinner seating does everyone have? We have been on 5 other Disney cruises and have always eaten first seating. This time I took second seating...we always feel rushed after excursions. But now I am second guessing our second seating!
Should I try to change it?

We have 2nd seating and like it much better than 1st seating. As you said, 1st seating always feels so rushed to get to. Also for us, it's very early, we are used to eating later than 5:00ish.

We are first seating but have never tried the second x

We have early dinning which was 6pm on our Med cruise last year. It worked ok for us as we did all our touring in the morning so we were back on board by lunchtime.

We always go first - no way the girls would last to 8pm. At home we usually eat about 6pm. The only day we struggled last year was on the first Venice Day when we were late back, but so many people ate of the boat that night we were easily accommodated

Hi all! When would the coach from London to Dover be - would it be the day before or the morning of the cruise? We'd be planning to come down to Dover on the 2nd and get a hotel the night before - would be interested in 3 seats on the coach if it was on the 2nd :)

We've got first seating. On our Med cruise next month, with DD being only 4 we're not planning on long excursions and hope to be back onboard by no later than 3pm each day - which should hopefully mean no rush. I think late seating would be a little too late for our DD now, but I think when she's older we'd probably go for it :)

When he arranged it for our Baltic cruise in 2010, it was the day of departure.

Why not set up a file and compile a list who want a coach and preference for either the day before or on the day of cruise to go to Dover.
We shall have to also arrange a meet and greet onboard somewhere too?

There will be one coach on the day of departure from Central London only. I am not sure what people will do in Dover pre cruise....apart from the castle, would recommend stay in London and visit Windsor castle. I feel you will regret staying in Dover and wasting a day/night of your vacation. Purely my opinion and each to their own.

True there is not much to really see and do in Dover. Was thinking people might not want to be rushing that's all.

Not sure it will be rushed, it is only about two hours by road from London to Dover. Like I say offer is there take it or leave it, I appreciate people travel differently just trying to add some local knowledge.

In 2010, we didn't feel rushed at all with the coaches. I don't recall the time pick up started, but I believe late morning. We arrived at the port in plenty of time and even had a stop along the way to stretch our legs, buy a snack (and have a taste of scrumpy! ;)). It was like a mobile DIS Meet!

Thank you Paul for arranging this. I sent you a pm!

We had early seating in Europe last year then requested a server. We arrived on the boat and were told they changed us to late because of the server request. We thought it would be a disaster but it worked out great with all of the last excursions and the kids(10,7) held up great.
