Just thought I'd write down some random thoughts while we are on our cruise. The weather has been FANTASTIC......calm seas and sun, sun, sun.....St. Maarten was very nice, walked right off the boat onto the island. We just went to the beach near the ship, the shopping and the town isn't that great, but we just came for the beach.....St. Thomas is another story. Tendering in was VERY time consuming and immigration and getting off the boat take up valuable time, especially if you aren't booked for an excursion. We weren't very happy about all of that.....The food is good.....Palos was wonderful, brunch and dinner.....The service in general is good, but I can't say it's over the top....We are traveling with 6 girls, ages 11 - 16. Our 11 and 13 year olds tend to enjoy the Oceaneer Lab for the most part, our 14 year old enjoys the Stack somewhat....our 16 year olds do not like the Stack. Plus, there are few older teens, and they don't like that....We have enjoyed the shows and the ventriloquist is great, the juggler is good too....Our kids have seen some movies, they're playing Calendar Girls, Home on the Range, the new one with Tom Hanks (name?Lady Killers?), Brother Bear, Miracle, Finding Nemo.....all in all we are having a very nice time.
