Magic cruise 5/16/14

Hi everyone
I found out some info on the pillowcase character signing
its also known has "Mickey Mail" on the ship
each stateroom is only allowed 2 items small (pillowcase, autograph book, picture frame border insert etc) also include color sharpies or pens place all this in a bag labeled with your stateroom and name give to Guest Services on the day we set sail this will be returned to you the last night of cruise guest service also has a form to fill out for this

we are going to do this but with the autograph books I have purchased for the grandchildren

I also read that at some of the character meets they don't sign do to time and the amount of people waiting so this would be one way to get the autographs

Hope this info is helpful :tink:

We are thinking about taking a small bag or backpack to get signed and then the kids can use it to take home souvenirs from the trip.

We just booked this cruise It will be our 5th. We are a family of 5. Dh and me 35. Ds 4,9&12
We love to do fe gifts.
Not planning any excursions just relaxing.

What characters do your boys like? Trying to get ideas for FE gifts

Got a few items for FE gifts...also booked day passes at the Hilton in Nassau. Anyone else have any excursions booked?

This will be our first cruise ever. We are a family of 5. DH 46 and me 44. DD 18 and 12 plus DS who is 15.

We plan on staying at Disney property the night before the cruise just to get a taste of WDW before we set sail (no park time - just resort time).

Still working out the kinks of organizing transportation (got plane tickets, but still contemplating ground travel options) and excursions. Originally thought we'd just do boat time instead of Nassau but tempted to look at doing the sea lion interaction.

Anyway....would love to participate in FE. Have read about it for months and would love to experience it first hand. We booked 2 adjoining ocean view cabins on Deck 9.

Hi glad to see you are going on a cruise. Are you sailing on the Magic and if so what is the deck number of your rooms, the magic only goes to deck 8 for staterooms

Yes, we're on the Magic. Boy, am I a newbie or what?!? We are on deck 2 - rooms 2568 and 2566.

Hi has anyone started to organize the FE list ?

I have only asked about favorite characters for kids but haven't started to organize anything for FE yet...is that something you would be interested in doing? This is our first trip, super excited to participate but not sure how to do much as far as setting it all up :)

Hi, If you would like to join the Fish Extender exchange on this cruise please post the following information.

- DISboard user name
- Cabin # (if you know it already)
- Family last name (optional)
- First names of those participating (optional)
otherwise state adult male/female or boy/girl
- Ages of children in cabin and whether boy/girl
- Any allergies
- List special occasions Birthday, anniversary etc that you may be celebrating
- Favorite Disney Character(s) if any
(some of this info helps to make gifts more specific to that person)

I will need to close this group by March 16, 2014. This should give us time to gather gifts for the set amount of people who joined.

All gifts should be delivered between Friday May 16 when we leave port up to Sunday May 18 by noon. This way everyone will have time to pack because our luggage goes out on Sunday evening.

This is to be fun and is not only for children, you can either do one gift for the room or a gift for each person. You can give gifts a few times through out the cruise or just once. There is no set rules, just exchange and have fun.

Hint: you may want to bring zip ties to attach your FE. Some people have commented, unfortunately that theirs walked away. (just don't forget to bring scissors or clippers to cut the zip tie when you go home)

I will make copies for everyone once I have a complete list and will have them with me on the ship to hand out.

Anyone that has any ideas please share.
