I am very pleased to recommend Magic City Transportation to anyone who will be hiring a transportation company versus using DME.
We weighed our options and decided that we just weren't comfortable with the whole DME set-up. I then began the search for a transportation company for our trip. We have used many of the transportation companies over the years and only had one negative experience with one company that shall remain nameless.
I reviewed websites, read the boards, and did some research on area companies. I came across Magic City Transportation and felt it was a "mom and pop" type of operation. I just got that feeling from the website and the perception was totally accurate. The roundtrip cost for transporation from MCO to Polynesian was $80, a $5 discount, because I mentioned that I had read reports about his service on the boards. A great rate for a terrific service!
Anthony and Jeanette were very personable and professional. Anthony drives and Jeanette does the bookings and dispatch. Anthony was very congenial and helpful. He was waiting at the escalator with sign in hand and a smile on his face. He handled our luggage despite our protests that we could do it and was genuinely a nice guy. His van was immaculately clean and he was professionally dressed. Anthony was a terrific driver, cautious and courteous. He made our grocery stop at Publix and told us not to worry how long it took us (we were very brief though).
On our return home, Anthony was in the designated location at the Polynesian prior to the scheduled pick-up time as were we. Despite heavy traffic, we arrived at the airport in plenty of time to check luggage and clear the security area.
As I said, we have used other town car/transporation companies in the past and this was far and away the best experience! I think that is primarily due to the owners. We give Magic City 8 big thumbs up!
BTW, if you opt to book with Magic City Transportation, don't mention the NY Yankees to Anthony--he's a Bo Sox guy!
