Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) **** PART III ****

Arrived and checked-in at CI&S. Pool looks very inviting! Little sad to come over the bridge and not see the Magic or the Wonder in Port though - we are used to driving in on departure day... Cool - free wifi in the hotel! And bunkbeds for the kids! Wish all hotel rooms could be like this!!!! Happy to do a CI&S meet later if anyone's interested...

Gracie has been okay since 9:30 this morning...Is the rule no problems for 24 or 48 hours? It might have been a virus or something she ate - no way to know. She's done okay with some saltines and flat Sprite and Coke. Keeping fingers crossed!

Going to run out to Walmart and grab some water and a duffel to throw it in. I know we used to be able to just put the luggage tag on the case of water, but saw that someone posted they now required it to be in a bag, right? Still figured it will be cheaper than a case of DCL water - and bonus is it gives me an extra cheapy duffel for stuff!

Soon, will be floating away with a DOTD in my hand!!!!

We made it to Orlando! Vaca has started!!!!! We went and got champagne and OJ for the limo ride in the morning and now Alyssa and I are laying by the pool.

Glad to hear everyone is making their way to Orlando safely. Joann I hope Gracie is feeling better.

Hopefully will see a few of u at the Hyatt tonight.

Laid out and swam all day in the sun today! The Radisson is so amazing. Meeting Three At Sea for a drink at 7 tonight if anyone else wants a cocktail.

If Gracie is not actively throwing up and having diarhea and a fever, just don't mention it to anyone at the port.....you'll be fine. If she is still sick on the ship, she can see the doctor and be quarantined, but at least you'd be ON the ship!

Just getting on 528 now. Hope to be at the residence inn shortly. Just so happy to be so close. Didn't think we would ever get out of the house! Had to drive all the way up to Daytona to pick up daughters new car from the Manheim auction. Still have to go grab some water but all I really want to do is pop some popcorn and chill in front of the tube. What an exhausting day! Isn't it gonna feel great getting on the boat tomorrow! Glad everyone is having safe travels and beginning to arrive. See ya real soon'

Quarantine would stink - but it's a lot better than being left in Port. Keeping fingers crossed - she's been okay since 9:30 - kept on clear liquids and saltines. Upped to plain Ozzo pasta at dinner. Her energy level though is back to normal and trying to keep her still is like finding Mickey without a line at WDW!!!!

Hi All!

Had a great (but small) DIS meet at the Hyatt. Got to meet Meemous & Crusin'Nick and their family and IceSk8ersMom and her family. Everyone was really nice and we had a great time. A few of the teen girls hit it off really good. Nice way to start the cruise.

Mike - we missed you guys!

Hope to meet up with a few more DISers tomorrow. See everyone at the terminal or on the ship.

We arrived at the Radisson a little after 9. We had not eaten dinner, so we went next door for a pizza. By the time we were done, it looked like things were closing up at the pool.

Sorry to not be at the Hyatt gathering last night - we were in full panic packing mode and tensions were high. Decided not to make the 50 minute drive in rush hour traffic. Will meet you all later today!

Arrived in Cape Canaveral last nite. Saw all the port hotels and knew they wer housing fellow Christmas cruisers!!! We are at my friend's condo with an incredible view of the beach. Very very close to the port. Need to go to Pubkix for wine, water and sunscreen this morning. See everyone very soon!
