Magic Christmas Cruise 2010 (Dec 18th - 29th) **** PART III ****

I only have three more hours of work. I am so excited. It is really foggy in California. I hope it is not foggy in the morning. We will not be able to fly out in the fog. That means we cannot fly to Florida. I would then start crying.
I think I have everything packed. I also made my list for Florida. I need to stop at a store and purchase a few items for the ship.
Safe travels everyone today.
We will be on the ship in 48 hours. I am now counting down the hours.
I read in a previous post that one family got upgraded and I cannot find that posts. I know that they have children and I want to make sure that I do not miss the room. Does anyone remember who that was and the new room number. I think it was on deck 7.

I think it was Angie Busch and family? I have a note that they moved from 7007 to 7510.

Going to meet another cruise family tonight and share a glass of wine. Turns out we live about 1 mile away!

I really think I need to start packing!! My dh is coming home today, hopefully, from Macon, GA. Caryn, were you by any chance in the Hilton Garden Inn?? That would have been funny if you were both staying there!!

Of course, I have 2 sick kids home today...Off to the doctor to see what's going on!! Nothing like a little added stress...

We're back from one of the coldest trips to Nassau and Castaway Cay ever! Brrrrrrr..... I've unpacked started laundry and started the repack. Hopefully with more shorts this time. I wore jeans the whole time on the Wonder and more long sleeves than not.


Anyone have the cliff's notes on what we missed?!?


(and it was really freaky to find the mostly dismantled Dutchman on the wrong side of the boat!)

Melanie’s dad was put in the hospital with heart failure. He had bypass surgery on Monday. Didn’t know if they were going to be able to make the cruise or not and they don’t have trip insurance or passports. Last we heard from her yesterday morning she was packing a suitcase but haven’t heard anything since.

Most of us are dealing with cold and snow so we are ready to get on the ship. Angie(minneapolismickey) posted a funny video on you tube that you have to watch. Here is the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VZ85Z8bvtsg

Also, minneapolismickey got an upgrade so they are now cabin number 7510 instead of 7007. They are on the FE list.

We finally got a location for the DIS Meet and it is Dec 19th 2pm in Studio Sea.

A lot of the DISers are already in Florida or traveling there now. We head out at 5:30am tomorrow.

Everyone take an extra dose of vitamin C (or start the mimosas and screwdrivers on the flights down! and feel better- and be careful in the snow and ice!

We had a great time on the 4 night- but ran like crazy! We're ready for a break. 2 suitcases are done. and 1 carry on. Just waiting on the laundry to finish.

Melanie's dad is doing ok considering...and they are joining us as of now. I am waiting for DD to get out of piano. She has surprise scavenger hunt and call frim Mickey waiting for her at home.

All of our suitcases are packed and ready to go.

I think I will have a glass of wine and relax til bed time. Have to get up extra early tomorrow but I will probably be so excited I won't be able to sleep tonight. Will have to take a nap on the plane so I am ready to go for the Hyatt meet tomorrow night.

Car is loaded...turtles and frogs are with the neighbors.....alarms set for 6:00....now I just have to remember to "Be Santa" after we get the kids in the car....Hopefully we don't get ice again tonight!

Got the spray tan, hate how it feels right now. Yuck yuck yuck! Wish I hadn't done it!

Oh no! What's the problem? I got a spray tan once that I didn't like...I think I didn't exfoliate properly before and it was all blotchy. Anyway, I used olive oil and sugar mixed together to get it out. Took about 4 days of scrubbing but it finally came out.

We are in full blown chaos mode here now. Stuff all over our bedroom with unpacked suitcases everywhere as we try to get ourselves ready. Of course this is also the night that my oldest DS decides to invite some friends over for a mini high school reunion.

Meanwhile our oldest DD has finished her exams and will be driving over from Tampa in the morning. Because of her studying, she has not had a chance to do laundry so that will be step one when she gets here followed by actually packing for the trip. We also have to squeeze in a trip to the eye doctor for her tomorrow.

Hope to be up at the CI&S by 6:00 and looking to meet anyone else who is staying there.

Got ours too. Hope to feel less icky tomorrow. Full panic mode in the Bezak household. My son is taking off from school tomorrow to pack. His game was suppose to be an inschool game at noon and somehow became a regular game and he didn't get in til after 9. Wasn't home all day today til now. Everytime we get ready for a vacation, everyone in So Florida wants to buy a house immediately So tired..... Is there a meet planned at the Residence Inn?

Flight is 7:50am out of STL... Hope to be in the MK by 1:30pm..

4 of the 6 LARGE suitcases are in the car... 2 more to go...

We are all finishing our meds.. so we hope to be super healthy...

Did really well on my packing, was a bit tight though. Few hours later I realized I hadn't packed any pants (trousers) for myself...that would have been fun times...

Just got home from Victoria & Alberts!!!! AWESOME!!! Can't move - but was wonderful!!!! Highly recommend it - worth the price tag (although will have to work extra to pay it off both in dollars and calories!)

Heading out to CI&S tomorrow. Anyone have a good place to eat for dinner out there???? We plan to arrive by 5pm, look for a family-type place to eat and then early to bed. Did anyone come up with a meet place by any chance????

Aaron got a USB cord so tried to upload photos. Just seems like it's going to take so much energy to resize photos...Will see what I can do...(I'm feeling very lazy right now after 10 courses of food and wine...No idea why)
