Wendy - I was the same way. Wasn't suppose to get up til 5:30 but my eyes popped open a little after 4 and all the things I need to get done today kept running through my head. Finally decided to get up and get started.

Safe travels to anyone who is traveling today especially those who have to travel through that wicked storm out there.

I can't wait til tomorrow!!!

Wow, what a video. I was feeling sorry for myself that it was 37 degrees when I woke up, and I had to put on shoes to go outside to retrieve the dog food bowls - but at least we have clear skies and dry ground! Florida is slowly warming, and it should be nice for our Sail Away party - but I hope everyone traveling through the bad weather stays safe and on schedule!

NO SCHOOL today for the kids. That means no field trip into DC and I get 8 more hours to obsess over packing....and more sleep tonight. I really needed this time, so I wasn't even upset with the 6am call saying there was no school. Funny thing is it's not even snowing yet.

I'm praying for everyone traveling today/tomorrow/Saturday to arrive safely in Florida. I'm really looking forward to meeting everyone.

I really think I need to start packing!! My dh is coming home today, hopefully, from Macon, GA. Caryn, were you by any chance in the Hilton Garden Inn?? That would have been funny if you were both staying there!!

Of course, I have 2 sick kids home today...Off to the doctor to see what's going on!! Nothing like a little added stress...

received a call yesterday from daycare that they think my daughter may now have conjuctivitus Rushed her to the Ped who said "No, she does not have conjuctivitus. If she did you would not have made it here without having to wipe her eye." So in the last month she has been sent home from school three times for three suspected contagious ailments that she did not have e.g. stomach bug, lice, and now conjuctivitus. All I want for Christmas at this point is a new daycare.

I did check-in for our flight and upgraded us to first class!
Now we don't have to pay for bags.

Off to run a few last errands and pick up the dog from his bath.

I only have three more hours of work. I am so excited. It is really foggy in California. I hope it is not foggy in the morning. We will not be able to fly out in the fog. That means we cannot fly to Florida. I would then start crying.
I think I have everything packed. I also made my list for Florida. I need to stop at a store and purchase a few items for the ship.
Safe travels everyone today.
We will be on the ship in 48 hours. I am now counting down the hours.
I read in a previous post that one family got upgraded and I cannot find that posts. I know that they have children and I want to make sure that I do not miss the room. Does anyone remember who that was and the new room number. I think it was on deck 7.

I am glad you were able to upgrade your seats. I am flying Southwest so the only upgrade will be the cockpit or flight attendant seat. So, I will stick to the seat I get when I board the plane.
I purchased a Disney pillow and blanket to take on the plane. This way we can sleep on Disney starting on Friday.

Only two more hours of work and then I am off. I am going to run home and get my dogs and put them in the kennel and pack my car. We then head for the airport.

We Central Floridians are VERY spoiled, of course, remember most of us moved from the Ice and Snow of UP NORTH ( which is anywhere north of the mason/dixon line)

I love the video. Nice snowy day to take a tan in Minnesota. Hopefully in Florida and beyond we will be able to get a real tan. Or at least a little warm weather. I am freezing in California.

Okay - what is up with all this snow!!!

It is even snowing in Virginia Beach. The little town Brittany and David live in has pretty much shut down due to the snow. I told her it was a good thing they got out of there yesterday. She said they got about 2 inches at the beach and now it is mostly freezing rain.

It's still snowing here in Iowa. We got about 5 1/2 inches last night and it has been snowing most of the day. Not looking forward to the 2 hour drive to Moline tomorrow morning. I think we might leave a little earlier than planned so we can take it easy. I just want to get on the plane to Orlando!
