saw on the news this evening that Vancouver had 10cm of snow, so you must have the same system! I guess the bright side is you don't live in AB where they are battling -30 C weather (-22 F) and soon we will all be fondly thinking of those at home while we visit glorious Caribbean islands!

My DH was reading all of the posts about the cold weather and shivering. We've been running the air all day here, but by Saturday morning it's supposed to be 30. I've been cleaning out closets like mad, getting ready for a big run to the Salvation Army before the holidays and at the same time pulling out things to pack for the cruise. I can't wait to sit back and relax for a few days!

Leilani, my parents said that they talked to you and are hoping to get to meet you before they come up to our house. Did you go to Thomas' Donut shop yet? I hope they are open this week! The long john is the best! And then there's the blueberry cake donut, and devil's food too! I worked there as a teenager (and the place is still standing!). Have a great week at the beach!

When we added my in laws to the trip, we realized that we would now have to bring up two cars. Rather than pay parking at the port for both cars, we booked the parking and shuttle package for two rooms at the Country Inn & Suites for Friday the 17th and will just take the shuttle over in the morning. Cost wise we save about $50.

Now I don't have to worry about getting everyone up and out of the house early Saturday morning for a three hour drive to port and hoping there are no glitches. Plus the ILs are not the fastest moving people. Definitely takes the pressure off.

Depending on what time we want to get to port, I can always drive the luggage and everyone over first then go back to the hotel, park the car and get on the shuttle.

Has anyone else ever stayed there before? If so, are there big backups on getting the early shuttle? Thanks.

Awwww, you are so nice! We are in cabin #2072. She really does love her villains. She even has a stuffed Malecifent doll who travels everywhere with us. According to Agnes Malecifent is looking forward to going on a cruise. LOL

Here are a couple of photos I snapped of the Evil Princess dress. It has 3 different skirts, 2 sets of poofy removable sleeves, and the coolest cloak ever.

You should be able to see my bakery page without signing up for an account. It took me awhile to get on Facebook but now I am hooked. It is a great way to keep up with friends and family back in Denver.

Today I ned to get 6 orders for pumpkin chai cheesecakes baked and then I am done until we get home from our cruise. YAY!!

A while back I swore I read something about Snow White coming into the kid's club to hang out. Does she do that? Also, when do most of the little girls wear their princess dresses? My daughter is so excited to wear her Evil Princess dress I think her head is going to explode. LOL

Snow White usually comes into the kids club and teaches them the dance of the 7 dwarves (dopey was with her last time we sailed) it will be listed on your personal navigator

LOL Thanks. I love working with sugar. I seriously have the best job ever. The pumpkin chai cheesecake has definitely been my most popular "cheesecake of the month" this year.

I have no idea. I just bought it off eBay this weekend and should have it sometime late this week or early next. I'll let you know when I receive it.

Good morning!

Just wondered what everyone is doing in terms of getting euros for the trip?

I think I read many pages back someone saying that you could get them onboard. Can anyone confirm this?

If you are getting them before you go, where are you getting them? When I asked at my bank's branch they were not sure they could do this (though they had a looping video display saying they could!!!). I didn't have time to wait for the customer service person to ask more details. I guess I should go back and look into it again.

Also, not to be nosey, but how much is appropriate? Will I have to pay for everything on Martinique and Guadeloupe with euros or should I still be able to use my cc for larger purchases?
