Magic Bands?

I know we've heard that Magic Bands are coming to Disneyland supposedly this year, but have we heard any updates on when these will become an active thing?

Nothing lately. I’m going to hazard a guess that when World of Color returns, we’ll see Magic bands. They were teasing that the bands would have features used to interact with the nighttime shows similar to the LED ears that color sync with World of Color.

I think it's going to coincide with WDW's release of interactive MB+. As far as I know that's still 'sometime in 2022'.

We got in October and I hope so too. In the past we always got our physical tickets to put in a lanyard, as scanning the phones was annoying. I'm totally on board for magic bands!

I loved MBs at WDW, so I am all about this, especially for the auto linking it does on ride photos for photo pass.

But Genie+ will still necessitate being on my phone all day, so there’s that….
